I also see a lot of problems with these visually but it is certainly a nice intro to the 'flake.

I read above it comes on a folded link bracelet? Does anyone have good photos of the bracelet they could post please?

Just got my blue one today.
At first I thought oh god it's sooo blue.
But over the past couple of hours and some scotch bright-ng the bezel--after all it's supposed to look beat up so you really can do no wrong--
Iv grown to like this bad boy.
The band may be considered flimsy but it looks good and it's lite as hell.
Bonus not too many people recognize a Tudor.
Well not like a Rolex or Pam or an Omega for that matter.

Just be aware; when I popped off my bezel the whole Crystal and bezel assembly popped off together.

So the links are stamped 7836?

and the bezel should be bleached, not sanded. The fade from sun exposure and chlorine in the pool which is dilute bleach.

The he funny thing is, gen vintage watches we look for the best possible condition. On the reps we always age them a lot.

Yea I know bleached. I usually use fine sand paper and scotch bright pad looks marvelous, just when I tried to get the bezel off, after I tried something new, the crystal came off too and that is above my pay grade type of repair, luckily the palm corner of table seems to have put it back in place.
This is going to be one of those I'm gonna live with it type things.
It's funny we pay more for a well beaten watch and that it adds value to an otherwise new item.

That's not a bad looking dial!

Most have the Swiss too close to the rehaut and that is an immediate tell for me. This dial in black would be scary good (because they never get the blue right)

The blue bezel seems a little bright. Anywhere can source a replacment bezel?

So I think I read through all this but still I want to ask:

Is this the same case as all the new v2 Cartel vintage Rolex we're seeing now?

If it is from jk factory yes. I havehad both the Tudor and their 1680 version and the cases and movements are identical. The engravings, dials and hands are changed.

I've seen JK mentioned some but I don't recall the details. I do know "Josh new Cartel, also available from Sead" and it looks like this case is making its way across the dealers who sell vintage.

The other thing that is exciting to me is that it looks like you get a folded oyster bracelet with the diver's clasp, with a Tudor shield stamp!

Is this indeed the case?!
