I'm really surprised at the love being given to the V5. The LF case, mk3dial, bracelet, crystal height.. All excellent.

Here are QC of my LF. Or, possibly US Customs LF since it checked in a few days ago and hasn't checked out... :facepalm:

And... Noob V5. Got gap? And the SEL are also as long as the case lugs. They should be shorter, tucked inside of the lugs, not equal length. This type of thing should be Noob 101, not noob V5.

If I remember correctly this was said when the og LV came out and other models that were different from the standard Sub. So it is all a matter of opinion.

I can't understand why there aren't more legit rep early Subs though. There is so much damn charm lost with those big, beefy cases. People want them because they're 'new and flashy'.

i like both new and old. old has a great proportion on my wrist, lungs, bracelet and head has good balance. new design is great because it has good wrist presence. no idea what the flak is about new and old, both are great with its pros and cons.

Just like when the original sub came out in the 1950's it was larger than most of the watches of the period. Sometimes evolution is a good thing.

I buy and sell around 15 subs a year but always struggle to shift ceramics. 16610 sells all day long but the subc is a different audience for sure.

My LF Sub-C arrived today. I guess the V5 isn't the only one with painted bezels.. The LF bezel has platinum colored number cutouts. And the pearl looks good. Hell... Everything looks good.

If this LF sub-c came out as Noob V6, it would be so popular they couldn't make them fast enough.
