New Sub from Pure-time video

Ive seen both in real life they are the same.also cosmic has a v5 aswell allready.the v5 is a v4 with silver paint .the engraving depth and quality is the same.look at the v4 or v3 video that angus made.then look at his v5 video he made you csn see they are the same.only the v5 has the old v3 dial .so the v4 wins

So I ordered one. Here are the first QC Pics I believe of the new V5 Sub. Let the Jihad begin...

Initial thoughts:
Bezel looks superb
Sels are not super great but not terrible.
Lume is incredible
I think the dial looks good but Im not a uber expert like others

I took the plunge too and just ordered from Toro. Waiting for my QC pics. Can't wait!

Looks like V5 has a more shallow depth which allow perfect painting of the numeral. The more shallow engraving makes the numeral appear bigger and very close to gen.

SEL of V5 is also better. Looks like V5 is a must for all sub fans.

I got my first batch of QC pics but had to reject it. Wasn't happy with the SEL fit on the bottom. The gap is noticeable.

I didnt notice any difference in the crispness of the v5 engravings compared to v4.i held a v5 breifly but didnt have the v4 to compare.so i take it back the v5 insert looks to be cut cleaner and neater.cheers for pics

Indeed, v5 is the silver paint on the left. v4 is the one with the white paint on the right. You can tell that the bezel engraving and paintwork has gone through an improved manufacturing process.

Well, I spent some time in China so it wasn't difficult for me to get these pictures from the local Chinese dealerships in the watch factory outlets. The news is that the hulk v5 are already being distributed to all the dealers and we should see the TDs around here getting their hands on them soon.

That Sub V5 bezel looks almost gen and it seems that the clasp/buckle have been sorted a bit. If only the crystal height was lower!!! A Hulk V5 with the correct crystal height would be a dream come true. Any good modders (in the Con US) you guys could recommend to do a crystal lowering as I don't fully trust myself to do it?
