No. You manually move it with the bezel. It's fairly simple.

Short answer, unfortunately no.

Better reps with manual month moving seems to be the best at present. Visually very appealing, so if I have to move the bezel, easily, once a month, am happy with that

The gen automatic month movement is accomplished by a very complicated set of gears and linkages that will never be repped. All of the rep Skydwellers are still using DG2813 (modded) movements at 21600 bph (low beat). While the Noob and JNF (aka Noob V2) examples are satisfying enough, on a technical level they are rather low end.

Have a look here. JNF are the best available at the moment. “Best” just means that they are the best of a bad bunch as they say. Keep away from the BLUE dial as it’s not the best rendition, the blue is too “purple” and you may be disappointed if you’re expecting it to be even remotely similarly to Gen. White or Black are likely the best choice for this model.

Skydweller is the most complex Rolex ever made ( cal 9001 ) so the rep has no chance of replicating it or operating like it…. As expected.
The GMT function does work but you do need to manually adjust the month indicator via the bezel.

From what I’ve seen so far the JNF is okay but it lacks the finer details on the bezel like the shape and depth of the teeth. It kinda looks like a much more blunted version and on this watch the bezel is a highlight in Gen.

It also has some date misalignment issues and the bracelet isn’t the best quality by JNF. Some feedback from owners state it’s a bit “light” and feels cheaper than anything from the top tier manufacturers like CF , ARF , VSF etc..

If you’re ok with those niggles then go for it.

Yes, JNF aren’t a top tier factory, in fact in China and amongst the dealers they are known as the “fake” noob factory. After the big raids years back, Noob was essentially shut down and deceased and this factory basically capitalised on the Noob name to continue to sell many of the Noob line up. Jia is Chinese means “fake”, hence JNF has been dubbed the Fake Noob Factory ( Jia Noob Factory- JNF )

The day date made by GMF is definitely a better rep than the JNF Skydweller and the latest GMF “tungsten” heavy day date is actually a nice watch.

JTime listed a bunch of GMF DDs as Tungsten Heavy Version. It appears they have but some tungsten inside to get the weight closer to the Gen. Anyone have more information about that...

If you aren't overly picky there is a lot to like about the Noob and JNF Skydwellers. If you are really interested in one you should read this thread more fully - all of the history of the two models is discussed thoroughly. The JNF is commonly called the Noob V2, though it is speculative.

For many years after Rolex released the Skydweller, only very cheap versions with a fixed month indicator were available.

Compared to these previous ~$150 reps, the Noob is quite a nice piece and the JNF has some improvements over the Noob that make it a worthy addition to a collection. Both reps' ability to display different months manually is an ingenious feature.

Noob next to a gen - few people not into reps would see or know about any differences visually.

The grey market has come down a lot since its peak 6 months ago but getting a blue dial from an AD is next to impossible and a grey market blue dial is still around $25 ‐ $28K or more.

Rolex just had a price hike Jan 1 so getting a white or black JNF would not be a terrible plan right now if your wrist can handle a 42mm 168g beast. You will definitely know you're wearing it.
