New Release: Noob Skydweller

Those have all the hallmarks of the JNF bro. As far as we know Noob is not reborn and Noob never made a V2 so that's all I can say. JNF may be some regrouping of old Noob workers as "J" has been used a lot recently for "new" factories - JVS, JDF, JCF, etc. In any case these new Skydwellers look pretty good to me and the bezel has been reported as working well, unlike the JWF which had multiple reports of loose bezels.

I notice Trusty just changed his listings within the last few days since I looked for the SS models. Those that used to say NOOB now say JNF

The JNFs are better models, having several upgrades - GMT wheel fonts are fixed, better datewheel, better coronet and ROLEX and triangle spacing at the top of the dial.

I would be surprised if Trusty can still get an old Noob, those went out of production before Noob was raided and they never came back. Some ad hoc workers may have cobbled together some watches from leftover parts or re-established relationships with parts makers.

The JNF blue dial does not look good unfortunately. The old Noob blue dial is great.

It's easy to tell Noob V1 from JNF (aka Noob V2). Just learn the differences and know for yourself which one someone is showing.

Noob no longer exists as it was so the V1s are either old stock or newly made by ex-Noob workers with parts connections as I mentioned above. No reason not to buy the JNF IMO. The corrected GMT wheel is reason enough. I went through a lot to get that issue fixed on my Noob V1.

Thanks for the response! Now I can tell the difference between the Noob v1 and JNF. My hypothesis is that the new batch of Noobs that recently dropped are also JNFs. Like Teamjlf mentioned Puretime has them listed as Noob and then Trusty has them listed as JNF, I came to that conclusion because of the metal options and dial options available from each factory match eachother. I was originally thinking that the new batch of noobs that dropped at Trusty's website were different from the JNF's that came out earlier this year. But I believe they are the same and regardless of which one you order youll get the same watch.

Im thinking of getting a White JNF but gotta look into the flaws more

Frustrating JNF do not make rose gold anthracite face as only seems available from the lesser JWF. Guess I will wait and hope JNF make it further down the line...

Noob never made an RG Skydweller. The white dial one you linked from The One is also from JWF. Only other RGs are very old cheapos from no name factories (pg 5 on Trusty)

Currently the JNF is the best new Skydweller rep.

Noob is a close second, but is not being made anymore in its original manner. There may be some being put together from leftover or currently available parts. Noob factory is no more, having closed permanently after raids.
