New Release - Breitling Superocean 44mm (2022 Release)

Disappointing that it's 44mm, though not surprised based on how it was being measured. Hopefully the BLS version is decent. It does use an Asian 2824 movement instead of the SW200.

I hate to say the BLS looks very poorly made, so the search continues

Something just seemed off over the way they measured the dial. And also, the TF marketing pic confirmed that TF don’t do 42mms…

Anyways, I’m sure it will sell and you can put this nightmare behind you.

Pls post some qc pics when you get it. I'm very intested in the 42mm. The dial markers ro me look better on 42mm however the engraving color on the bezel is what I reallt want to see.

So by the pics I'm thinking the markers are nicer on thr bls. But the numbers on thr inner chapter ring are shorter and not as accurate to the gen like the tf factory. The Pearl looks better with the ring around it compared to the tf. However the engravings look slightly more cream then white? Mixed feelings on this one.

Damn, that looks great. They even got the pip right at 12 which should be flat like gen. Enjoy!

Looks like a nice QC. But I would agree that the bezel engravings look like a prime candidate for a paint pen mod to inlay them actually silver.

Very true on the tarnishing - I had a gen SOHII 46mm and the triangle looked terrible, I never swam, got it wet or exercised with it. Only wore it around the office.

Ironically my SOHII 42mm rep has had no such issues

Any recommendations or just us an acrylic paint pen?
