Both specimens that I tested (the ceramic and 2018 model) had loose/flimsy crowns. It was not to the point where I would be afraid that it may fall off, but it was definitely not gen-like

Mine too. I'm always extra careful when I set the time on this particular watch.

Strangely when I swapped the movement to Swiss it became much more solid in feel and movement.

Any owners of this watch have it pressure tested for water proofnes? I like to have a jump in the pool with my divers if possible.

Not sure I would take it to the pool, even if another one has tested his. Not sure if the QC from one watch to another, especially on rep, is accurate. Either you test it, or take the risk, or you don't.

Yeah I would definitely test it myself (as you say, with Chinese QC every watch varies), but just wanted to know if others have already taken the step, to see if it have waterproof potential

If you jump in water, even with 1m water, the pressure on the glass, the gasket etc is much higher than this 1m water. That's why they say 10m waterproof is meant to be able to resist a handwashing, and you need at least (not sure) 30 or 50m just to swim in the pool.

Correct, as i know it 3ATM is borderline, 5ATM over is good to swim.

Therion666 Thank you for clarify. Bit confused between v1 and v2 and didnt know he is refering the different watch.

I would say the movement of the v2 is different. There is a new omega engraving and the red colour seems a little better.

in my opinion the most significant flaw is the dial itself. if you compare it with the gen, the rep just cannot, no matter the lighting, replicate the greyish tone of the dial

https://imgur.com/a/S8ohtPZ this is a photo of the gen. Considering my photo was taken with strong light , I think your photo shows pretty much the same grey as on mine photo taken in AD some days back.

when u changed for an swiss movement could you use the decoration as well? Or does it have an normal eta look through the open-backcase?

But could it be also just depending on different light situations? Do you have the rep so you could compare it?
I have to agree, that on a lot of the pictures on TD Websites it appears to be a black dial.
But at an post of mickszym (https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...83#post8792383) the gen seems to be pretty black as well.
