Wondering if you can do a side by side comparison, would help a lot!Hi all, just received my PPF 5712 V2 in the mail. Didn't even have the time to size it properly yet. What a stunner. I have a gen 5711 and I thought the PPF dial's color is close and there is no hint of purple whatsoever. My biggest gripe with the watch is the moonphase disc's color, so I am looking forward to swapping it out!

A little update fellows.
The gen moon disk was successfully installed into the watch today by my watch maker.
It’s not a 1-to-1 fit. What needs to be done is a bit tricky, but can be done. As I understand he separated the gen moon disk from its gear and installed it on top of the gear from the rep moon disk. It needs no gluing or any thinning or something like that.
So in theory you can do it the reverse way and have an intact moon disk back again, if you would want to sell the genuine one or such.

To my knowledge there is no custom moon disk available by now. Mine is genuine.
One guy here on rwi has printed his own.

He didn’t provide me any pictures. But he told me that this is the way he did it. In the beginning he tried to mount the whole thing onto the movement but couldn’t. So he had to separate the disks from their respective gears and exchange them. And that was possible.
IIRC there are gen variations about it. However I might be wrong.

One variant of the 3712 had 3 red dots on the power reserve
5712 has 4 dots since their release I believe

This is correct. The 3712 with 3 red dots is rare and expensive. No 5712 with 3 dots.
