That is a TD and I haven't seen enough proof to justify the price difference between the two factories. Both seem to have same super clone movement with working power reserve.
The 3kf doesn't has the clone movement, it's just say that it is , just decorated

If that is the case then Tony (Asian7750) who is a TD here needs to update the description. This would explain the price difference unless this is new from 3kf and nobody is talking about it. Nothing in the description says its decorated or fake power reserve. Can we confirm this from another TD?

"MOVEMENT: Asian Super Clone 240 movement, with the real power reserve funcion and real moonphase , the movement funcion is same as genuine !!!"

Descriptions have some false statements most of the time at sites, nothing new really

Ppf is the way to go for the best rep of this model, unfortunately td's cant get hold of it quickly so be prepared for long waiting if you decide for that model

asian7750 is Tony , indeed a TD here but not a popular one

I think the 3KF in the description is wrong though, afaik 3KF does not make the ref. 5712.

Today I made a little investigation if the v1 dial theoretically fits the v2 watch. In the pic below the background is a v2 watch and the superimposed foreground drawing represents some key points (hands positions, moon disk cut) of the v1. Based on my pic although the positions of the hand holes might be the same but unfortunately the sizes and the locations of moon disk cuts are different:

FYI
I applied the photo superimposition technique to the v2 and the gen dials and I can confirm that these two dials may be interchangeable. In the background it is the gen, my drawing represents the reference points of v2.

Playing around with a sloppy macro adapter and an iPhone. Nothing amazing but I thought I would share it here. Take your own conclusions.
The text on the movement is printed. The edges of the markers and the central hands look sharp. They might be bevelled by a modder.

The words on the movement are not printed but laser engraved just like on the 3KF movement. Besides the symbols on the balance cock everything else is left with less depth and less luster of the golden brass color. The finish of lasers in this case can be dull and matte and in this case also darker than the actual engraving because of the temperatures and residues from the process…

I wish they were just printed and one could remove them to engrave them oneself with a pcb-prototyping cnc mill…

Unfortunately it would too hard to re-engrave the existing text without any off-set. With earlier 3KF movements it was technically possible to remove the printed words and leave a blank canvas for a real engraving…

Hopefully they‘ll switch to a better finsih in future versions. The cahmfers would benefit from a spa too - but here we are with a real funtional clone so aesthetics can be overlooked for the amount of money paid…

As someone who does not have access to a CNC mill, I’m pretty satisfied with the engraving on these lol

Mini-review

I got mine during the week. I'm pretty impressed with the proportions of the case. Diameter is spot on. The thickness is really nice. I measure it to around 8,54mm without crystal, and a little more with crystal. Patek says 8.52mm, although i dont know if that is with or without crystal. Perhaps @Heisenberg , you could measure thickness of your gen without crystal?

Diameter:

Thickness with crystal (crystal-to-crystal):

Thickness without crystal (caseback to bezel):

Overall quality is great and finishing is better than any other non-modded rep i've experienced so far. Also it keeps time fine and power reserve is good. The micro-rotor is capable of keeping the power reserve up. When I first wore it a few days ago i wound it manually to 80% (i give my automatic gens 20-25 winds too).

Regarding the moon phase disc, the color is totally off. There's no excuse. There are no version of a 5712 with that color. It's too light. I have a incoming gen disc, which will be installed at some point.

The dial color is fine IMO. It's not purple. In yellow indoor light it can have a slight purple hue, but not at all like the early 5711 PPF's. It's mostly dark blue and greyish.

The dial is too "dull", it's not lively enough like gen dials. The sunburst and black-blue gradient is too dull. But anything else can't be expected of a rep dial. I hope Buff will release a dial for this.
