All sized up and ready to wear. I'm impressed with it. Particularly the working power reserve. The rotor is still noisey imo. And winds like a cheap asian movement. But ticks along nicely. I tend to agree with others that the V1 had better gradient than this. But it has been proven that the gens have different variations as well.

Purple is the hardest color to be photographed or filmed.
It never convey the actual color seen by our eyes.

In your opinion, would u say the pictures are exactly how the watch looks in person?

Does anyone know how to fix the pusher if you push it and nothing happens for the moon phase? But the moon disk still moves if you wind the time .

The QC pics don't really capture the gradience of the dial. Other than that, yes.

I think the gradient and lighter colour of the moon phase are what's holding me back. Gen is beautiful.

In all honesty my gen 5711 rotor is somewhat noisy n u can really feel.the vibration vs a gen rolex (36 mm or ym.or gmt)

5711 gen rotors feel more like a speed master omega automatic.. less clunky.. so yeah 5712 i would expect would have vibrations n whizzing sound

My gen 5712 and wife’s gen Twenty-4 are about the same. The PPF and gen windings have similar feel actually. They are nowhere near as smooth as some other gens in my collection (smoothest winding watches I own are AP, JLC, Hublot Unico).

Final Power Reserve Update: Dead at 50hrs 14 min.

Looks like the reserve indicator line stops at the second red dot. Not sure how that compares to the gen.
