V2 dial is much darker than V1 and my gen. I don't particularly like it but possible the new gen looks that way, mine is about 4 years old.

I definitely prefer the V1 over V2 dial, the V1 is as pretty as the gen dial if a little different. The V2 I find too dark, too deep blue, not enough gradient. Would love to see a new gen dial but don't know anyone with one; will visit the AD next week but obviously they will almost certainly not have one.

Thank you Heisenberg for sharing these pictures. This is a great comparison and what many needed to see. While it is correct in mentioning perhaps a newer 5712 gen may have a slightly different color blue, the purple colors we saw in the QC pics of the V2 is something I have never personally seen in any gen.

the v1 color is nice and compare. well. with the gen imo, but the white lume is terrible, and v2 does much better on this aspect...

I think the consensus could be that ZF/PPF should bring

- the v1 dial color back (maybe with some more blue, v2 index/hand color is perfect)
- the v1 moon phase disk color back
