So you surely own the gens in various dial variations both as the rep V1, V2, and modded one and you did due diligence comparison in various lightning conditions.Terrible dial....
It’is not even a distant relative of the dial gen, much much worse than PPF v1 for example..
Obviously IMHO
Could you please report your findings once you receive your build with an SW v2 dial?I have PPF v1, v2 e gen 5712 (2012). I'm curious to see a direct comparison between gen and vvs. I ordered a build with the new Sw v2 dial. I repeat, IMHO vvs it is too gray, too light, without any green, in all light conditions. IMHO
sorry forgot to state, the TD was setting the date while both the hands were pointing at the 12 marker. heard that it has bad long term effect on the movement if the date was set between 9-3hey guys, so during QC i requested for a video of the functions tested to see if it was working properly, the td set the date at 12am and i heard that it has bad long term effect on the movement, should i RL it and get another?
You can ask for another watch but I'm not sure you won't receive the same one.sorry forgot to state, the TD was setting the date while both the hands were pointing at the 12 marker. heard that it has bad long term effect on the movement if the date was set between 9-3
theres a "serial number"(?) at the back of the watch so i would know for sure, but im not sure if its a big deal that would affect the movement in the long runYou can ask for another watch but I'm not sure you won't receive the same one.

Check thisI don’t understand your point.
Even if he did it wrong and set the date once or twice it doesn’t mean the movement is broken.
And btw normally you would set the hands at 12am to set the date.
I have a gen AP perpetual calendar. The owners manual states you should set it when hands are at 12 am, as neither moon phase or date functions are activated at that time in the movement.
Maybe @player233 meant 12pm.

Wouldn’t imagine it being any different for a Patek movement
