ZF will piss on everyone if this is as close as the 5001

Basically from what I understand ZF is in process repping this IW5035 SIHH 2015 model. Said out soon. (which i think will take couple of months like the 5001)
Then you will certainly need a curved end strap which is not that easy to find.

Unless zf reps the strap .. If it's anything like the JLC reverso rep, which many says is as good as its gen counterpart, then it might prove lucrative for them..maybe?

If the Annual Calendar is repped it will a massive step forward the chinese movement makers. The mechanism to recognise the number of days in the month and then change the month correctly on that correct date is complicated. Also when you have 30 days in the month how it jumps the actual day to the correct one. If they can accurately reverse engineer it all is possible I suppose.
Let's just hope there is no ugly pusher on the side to do this manually.

If ZF made the existing strap from alligator it would be pretty good I would say. Only real problem with the existing strap is that it is embossed leather.

nice 5035 but not my cup of tea, as i don't like the Day/ date on top and IWC print at the bottom. Well, this will be another break through for ZF if they really REPPED this Movement (I mean the annual calendar bit) on the front.

I wasn't too keen on this until I saw them in real life and it changed my mind. The price over a 5007 is another story!

Finally received my white/gold dial. However, something seems not right with my date. Check out the pictures below.

If you look at the pictures above, number 15 and number 16 suggested that the numbers are actually printed wrongly. I spotted this right away when I was trying to fix my date. The number "5" and "6" are positioned higher and placed at the wrong angle compared to the number "1". I totally understand if the misalignment as shown with date 21 is a pretty common issue, no problem with that. I think mine is a different case.

Would you say this is a misprinting/misplacement error? My TD claimed that this is all the same with all ZF date wheel and I was wondering if you guys have the same problem as mine.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I noticed the same on my white dial/silver hands version.

It's on every ZF like this..if u check all the pictures in this thread. Not such a big deal imo. Otherwise, wear it only on single-digit days.

It does seem like the double digits are printed too high on many of them. That is why you should always ask for QC pictures showing different dates.

Can't say if all are the same but many are. It seems to affect numbers the number 1*. I notiiced it on mine a bit and the date window shape doesn't help as I believe that confuses the eye. At normal size it is barely noticeable in my opinion.
@thermalboyz if you look at your comparison thread where you show the date wheel you can see it on numbers 15-18 or it looks like it.

The movement I posted was prototype so that was roughly 5 months ago.
