It's on it's way

It's a QC picture, yes, but I don't need any advice if I should accept it or not, just want to show how it looks like besides the sample pics the TD's have been showing.
The movement I posted was prototype so that was roughly 5 months ago.

If ZF made the existing strap from alligator it would be pretty good I would say. Only real problem with the existing strap is that it is embossed leather.
The gold ardoise is finally out: http://www.puretime.watch/product/p...1-best-edition-on-brown-leather-strap-a52010/
I just love this combination.
5001 have this ardoise version which is white gold. I've posted picture before. To pull it off with this one you would ultimately need a strap with curved ends and a 5007 rose gold clasp. I don't think IWC ever made the 5001 in rose gold with the ardoise dial. Can the experts confirm?
That date wheel is damn near perfect… so are the number markers on the dial. I thought that specifically with the ardoise dial these were major issues. Perhaps it was just the sample the TDs got to photograph? This version is the best of the bunch IMO, but I was holding off because of the clear issues. Looks like you either dodged a bullet or the issues have been addressed. When talking about datewheel I feelt that I had to share a couple pics of the Ardoise date window of the watch that's on it's way.
In my mind, It's really good.

You got a gem mate! That definitely speeds up the timetable for me thenThe TD is Ryan at Intime and had the same worries before order regarding the sample pics that was shown but it looks like that wont be a problem.

I just received mine and it is embossed plastic. The finish is peeling in places and it is plastic underneath. I have a gen alligator strap on it's way, so no big deal.
