He has loads of Gen IWC straps, might have what you are looking for!!! Just make sure if he does that he places a listing on eBay so you have buyers security
Ordered the 5001 Laureus. Tempted to order the Ardoise dial version as well but it seems like the Ingenieur 3233 is being released in all colours soon. Now what to do? I love the 5001 Ardoise but I'm liking the sleek black Ingenieur. Good news is my custom ordered straps fit both models (22x18).

Have any of you adjusted the date wheel? Mine sits too far to the left so I need to move it over a notch or two.

I don't think the teeth spacing is narrow enough where moving the date disk wont make it worse in the other direction.

Curved oem strap is hard to find. Only seen once on eBay. I suppose you can contact kaufmann for a custom made curved end.

Not yet. My Fave IWC is the original blue/orange Cousteau. Would love to see that re-issued with the quality they have achieved on the Portugese 7 day. Until then, I really cannot decide between the wealth of good options here.

Yes Santonies are high end, but in this special case I don't like the skin pattern of the Santoni for Portuguese and the strap is too slim at the lugs IMHO. I like them minimum 5-6mm thick at the lugs, like IWC Pilot straps. Kaufman CAN build such straps. But the price is near by the gen IWC price which is 290€. I'll decide in the next days which one I'll order, but I think I'll prefer a Kaufmann because they make it thick and they are able to make my special length 55/140mm.
