You don't need to, you can easily have your own V2 upgrade by ordering the new plate from your TD.
i saw now and i think they have changed the dial too, not only the movement. compare the v2 and the v1 on toros website. the red mark on the 1 is a lot better and the sub dials are not glossy, maybe they changed the hands too, a bit more rounded. Or toro showing us the gen

But yes, having a close look as well on chazingtime as toro it might really be they did update the hands too. The strap, however, looks as crappy as always.

Cant tell if your being sarcastic or there is really a v3 in the works.. Im leaning toward sarcastic though

Seriously..if I had to buy a new one, of course I would go for the V2. But I cant comprehend how anyone would sell his V1 because of an improved movement deco, which nobody can and nobody will ever notice anyway.
I've heard that apple have bought the Z factory so the next version will be the V2S followed by the V3 in a couple of months. Insiders say we will be on version V6S by end of of 2016.
If you take a look at toros site there is definitely a difference between v1 and v2 (besides for the moment deco) The subdials don't look shinny and on the blue version the markers look darker blue as well as the strap.. It could all just be the lighting, but i dont think so.

you are right, on Toro site, the Blue sub-dial changed on V2. Need a direct comparison side by side to confirm that, on some TD have different lighting or angle so can't really see it clearly.
