Well it's a 5001 dial. only real way to tell is the movement.
The position of the through hole at the end of the strap can move it closer to the case. If i remember correctly some on here or RG put a curved strap on, maybe with straight bars, and it looked like this.
Yes, at least one member did that (a gen 5007 strap on a 5001), but with curved springbars. Looked pretty good.

There are certainly a lot of posts here but look through this thread and you will see people saying where they bought theirs. The same dealers crop up a number times and we all have our favourites for various reasons.

Title says it's a 5001. But it has curved springbars, which should create a bigger gap on the 5001 because the holes are further away on the 5001 compared to the 5007. More pics: http://analogstrap.blogspot.kr/2015/12/dark-brown-crocodile-strap-iwc.html
I'd say it's a rep, just basing it on the date.
As you can see it's not just the dial and movement that is different on the 5007. The entire case is different!

Where is it confirmed that the date is better on the V2? Nobody received it yet and some people claim the pictures on the TD websites only have changed the backside pictures

The strap does not look like it is meant for the watch. The gap between case and strap is huge considering its using curved spring bars. The gen strap is also evenly flat throughout while this looks so fat and even bent at the center.
Well, the gap is remarkably smaller then it is with the OEM 5001 strap, whether you like that is a matter of personal taste. The gen strap, however, is anything but flat, au contraire it is nicely padded, very similar to this one.
Looks really good! It doesnt look as shiny as the other side by side pics with the subdials (as it should)
But I am wearing my gen with gen strap right now. Perhaps I should rephrase it to being more evenly flat across.
