I'm sure they would have to use up all of the existing ones and then start updating to new ones, they wouldn't just chuck out the ready printed DW they will still make money out of it LOL

That's not how they work my friend. They already sell all they make. There are literally hundreds of outlets in shopping malls and online other than our TD's. The factories don't exist just for RWI I'm afraid!

Bottom line is like I said they don't give a damn and wouldn't care if DW is crooked because Every.Penny.Counts. Like hub6152 said its Chinese we're dealing with so I understand just have to wait till they have sold out their current DW

They probably are not too worried but they have gone to great lengths to get the case as gen and the dial virtually spot on so to allow a second rate printing on the date wheel is a bit of an own goal.
I have no doubt it will be corrected (or I hope so) once the current stock has gone and I for one will wait until this is done before I purchase any more.
