The edition you're referring to, the Portuguese Laureus, has white subdials. The blue one on Toro's site appears to be a fantasy version

The full blue dial is the 7 days full calender version.

I've tried on the gen and love it. These will be a no brainier if the they are close and the movement isn't a major issue like a jerky seconds hand.

I've also been waiting for the 5001. My only dilemma is white/blue or black dial. Obviously the correct answer is to get both! Super high hopes for the ZF release

Apart from the obvious errors on the dial what they always get wrong is making the sub dials a bright silver, IWCs with silver sub dials have a mat silver finish. In my opinion it totally ruins it, you can see it is rep from way off.

Anyone else noticed that on the original movement pictures there is a small IWC gold coloured logo disk near the balance wheel. All the images on the sites showing the assembled rep don't have this and there is just a whole where I assume this pressed in? The gen has the logo engraved into the plate at this area.

Well, if they don't fix the line above DAYS then the accuracy of the rest doesn't matter anyway.

ZF been notified about line on days. So will wait to see the final product when it came out.

But from watchbus.net blue dial picture still have 2 line on top of days. Hands still under development and improvements to be made.

@w0rn that's is Laureus model and yes that's a correct model. (But hands is wrong)
