Hi all,
I am new to this thread and love it!
I am a bit confused and have a question regarding the white dial/gold markers, hope sometime can clear this up for me!
When I see the watch on TD sites the dial looks plain white, almost ivory even, but on some watch photos I saw from members the dial has a silvery sheen to it. Even on some gen photos I see the silver dial.
So which is it? Is it the same dial with just the different lighting? Because they look really different and I much prefer the silver!
Here are some comparison shots:
TD with the plain white:
And here is a photo uploaded on RWI of the rep, it has a clear silver shine to the dial:

And here are the gens with silver dials:
The photos on the TD site are usually waaaay over exposed. The watch will have a silverish shine to it under natural lighting. It's quite close to gen.Hi all,

I am considering getting one of these. I especially like the white dial / blue hands combo. I love the way this watch looks, only thing I am not sure about is the reliability of the movement. It is going to be only my 2nd rep (my 1st was PAM 029K Noob) and I am not at a point in life where I can buy a new watch more than once a year, therefore i want to make it count. Do you think it would be smarter to wait for the V2 or V3 or should I just go for this one now?

So it's almost 72 hours and the middle three look like they will just make it to 72 hours while the two on the outside have stopped at around 71 hours.
Now I can get back to wearing them!!
Interesting test and shows that the movements are pretty consistant
I thought exactly the same and my reflection on that, which might be totally wrong, tells that the movement should be of fairly high quality. Time will tell how many breaks down and what breaks in that case.Interesting test and shows that the movements are pretty consistant
This is how it looks for mine. It is definitely not a plain white. Almost a silver/tan shade to it.

To add to that, on the rose gold case along with the white dial also gives a slightly cream look to the dial due to the reflection off the rehaut (as does the gen).
Beauty man. Enjoy it !Thanks all! I will order it now, love the silver look!
You would need to drill some new lug holes closer to the case and hope the strap covered the old ones.
Drilling new holes is the key. I ordered a curved from Kaufmann, still waiting for it. Then I have to go to my watchsmith and hopefully he can drill new holes for me. Technically I can't imagine how the drilling tool looks like, but there must be a way because there are already holes drilled into the lugs...
Why shouldn't the strap cover the old holes? If the curved end is thick enough I don't see a problem.
No, because it's custom made for me. I will post some pics after arrival.
3 days power reserve? That's impressive!

Thanks. Happy to report it's winding properly now. The crown was just a little stiff (from jet lag? [emoji12]) and I was afraid to apply more pressure so as not to break or twist something in the movement. The warmer clime must have loosened it a bit.
Come for the watches, stay for the drama! [emoji12]
