Apparently with the concentric circles situation that was discussed a few pages before, the black dial version is not the most accurate.

I have been following this thread for awhile now.. It seems that very few have gone for the laureus edition im just so curious as to why? Is it just a taste thing? I would assume its the most accurate out of all versions due to the closed case-back.

Thanks! It does look great. But had I seen photos of the RG+ Ardoise combo earlier, I might have gotten that instead! Next up for me... Maybe a white/blue.

I'm waiting for my white/blue to arrive. Should be here any day. We have the common taste then.

imo the display back is a real work of art. Not 100% imitation but I'm not trying to fool anyone so that isn't a big problem

Wow, can't wait to see pics! We should have a thread just for people to share how they pair their different coloured Portuguese with different straps. I'm thinking reddish-honey Santoni with this. If I get the white/blue, maybe a dark navy croc?

This is probably mentioned somewhere in the thread, but I can't seem to find the info again. Can someone please help me with the measurement that's best for the 5001?

Mario from Orlof sent me this guide:

According to other members, 22/18 and 145/55 will be best for the 5001, but how about "E" and "F"? Should we give him that info as well?
Thanks in advance

You don't think there is anything wrong with the date wheel?
To me it seems as the 12 is not centered?

Same on mine, and I guess on many other 5001. Probably also depending on the time set? If you ask for another, im afraid it wont be much better, but maybe some crooked numbers in addition. For me, your date is ok...but hey, its up to you.

Just tell Mario your wrist size. He can measure E for you.
I provided width 22/18mm, length 144/55mm and wrist size when I asked him to make strap (pilot style with rivets) last time.
