I note that they measure the width & thickness, are they inline with gen? Also they weigh it and it’s comes in at 122g approx with ss bracelet , where the gen with titanium bracelet comes in at 95-96g.

IMO the bezel numbers look far more gen like on that v3. Being closer to the outer edge of the insert. It’s becoming an instant tell for me on images of v2 reps and gen counterparts now, but appreciated probably far less so in the flesh.

Would TDs be able to source v3 bezels or inserts?

Yeah I noticed this a week or so ago for the V3. Doesn't take anything away though for the V2, i still like mine. This number thing on the bezel is similar to what the Spectre Seamaster rep faced in its early days but that was for the thickness of the inner ring on the bezel which was thin on the first few versions from V6F.

Yeah I’m guessing it’s like many little things on reps, we notice them because we micro analyse them in close up images. In reality and when on the wrist from a distance those micro things just aren’t even tangible.

There’s a guy on an Omega Seamaster group on Facebook who keeps posting close up images of his V2 on a leather nato and gets loads of likes and comments and not one person has said, “hang on look at your bezel numbers they are ever so slightly smaller than mine!”

Ironically he captioned one of his images with a quote from the song “fool me once fool me twice” ha ha. Didn’t fool me mate!

Damn that's beautiful. Can't wait to get mine!

I can’t wait for you to get yours and do a comparison too!!

Interesting that they measured the thickness at 13.1. I believe the gen is about 12.99. I thought the v2 was around 13.7 so is the v3 thinner?

I'm in that group..haha. I didn't notice though. Been seeing a few posts of the watch but don't notice them to be reps.... Won't be surprised though. It's getting harder to spot reps and gens now.

Really? Haha.. I'm there in that group too. I only post my gens of course. Look me up!

Yep seen your gens on there too pal. I’m the same. Gens in a gen forum and reps on here.

I’m not ashamed of any rep I’ve had so I wouldn’t deliberately try to pass one off as a gen. I have saved hard earned cash to buy gens of my favourite watches, but then I’ll happily experiment with reps in between!

Anybody know if this is the titanium mesh in this video? I assume it's SS as the color looks a tiny bit off but that could just be my own bias.

I think it’s ss as it’s weighted in at 122g approx in video, wheee gen. watch & titanium strap is 95-96g it believe.

I Don’t think the titanium is due until June or July. So it’s probably steel, which I expect is the prototype for the titanium finished product.

It clearly states V3 in between all the Chinese letters in the video title so that's the steel mesh. Gotta wait at least another month or so for the titanium mesh.

My hope is that the titanium band will fix the thickness issue. I'll go for the V3 for the brown bezel over the V1 and I do like the mesh as it stands, but I'm partial to the Staib band I'm running right now just because of the thickness of the mesh which seems to match the genuine bracelet more closely. Also needs a more sandblasted finish.

Despite being titanium, anyone here think the V4 band will be further revised?
