Mine arrived on Friday and the first thing I noticed how much lighter this watch is and more comfortable (compared to some other Omega's).
Is there a way to test the lume properly? Besides standing outside for 5 mins then coming inside? Tried that and mine was not very bright at all.

I've been wondering what kind of power reserve these reps have, so I tested them.

After fully winding each, the results:

The 2018 SMP 300 stopped after 42 hours and 50 minutes.

The No Time to Die (V2) stopped after 43 hours and 25 minutes.

I'm pretty impressed with the accuracy of these as well. Both are running about +2 - +3 sec/day.

My NTTD stopped at 44 hours and the Spectre V2 went to just over 62 hours

I hope the V3 has a better lume update. I did notice the V1/V2 that I have does in fact have slight play in the bezel towards the 6-8 o’clock position. Did not notice this until after reading through this thread about the same issue. I just wish some of these issues have been addressed in the newer versions.

Has anyone received the newer versions?

Why would you service it, if it's brand new and it works? These movements are workhorses, I've had nothing but great experience in the past. My watchsmith has nothing to do with VSF watches, he says they're well put together. He just greases the gaskets and that's more or less it. They're very accurate too out of the box. Some of you guys worry too much...

Been seeing a couple of members here having watches that were going too fast/slow, and these china assembled watches tend to be poorly assembled and oiled, leading to many problems in the future. Happened to me before on a couple of watches i got. I just wanted to know what are my options for servicing for a peace of mind.

You just get a couple of inches of it and then put it between your teeth and move it forwards and backwards and it removes food and plaque from between your teeth. Works a treat and you can feel the gaps again after!

Lol couldn’t resist.

I’d be personally tempted to whip off the bezel and re bend the retaining spring to make it sit tighter. I’ve done it to fit gen bezels to a upo and a smp in the past.

Whip off the bezel, how, would you do that?
