The watch is the same If you buy on TD, DH or Ali. It’s always VSF; i bought mine on dh and it was V1, now they have other versions but the price is always around 400$.
Someone sells 100$ versions, but they’re totally inaccurate shiny watches

Curious. Can you ask a TD at the time of QC pictures if they can check things like bezel rattle that can't be 'seen' in the pictures? It's a bit of a gamble otherwise. I'm holding out for the version with Ti bracelet. Assuming it will be up around the $500 mark. I have the black ceramic SMP 43.5mm and it's absolutely perfect.

I don't think it is possible to see bezel's problem on QC photos... in my case it doesn't rattle (when shake your wrist or watch alone) but it seems to be of cheap workmanship since:
- you can push it left or right and it MOVES about 0.4mm in direction of your choice (if you press the bezel @3 it will move in @9 direction)
- it sits very flush with main case, doesn't spring up - which is OK

Probably bending the spring underneath of bezel would help...

However I was just wondering if there was like a price difference between our TDS and Ali. One never knows the markup of our TDs here. How are you guarenteed through Ali and DH that you are getting a VSF?

Doubtful they are actually in stock with the dealer. Many of us have been waiting a long time for qc images (over 2 weeks now) since payment. Dealers want the money and then you will have to wait u til they get their hands on one. Hopefully the factory will kick out a fresh batch soon.

Sometimes they tell directly to you, btw as i said before right now the best copies are all VSF. You can find cheapest rep with fake shiny bezel and different colors.
Most of the times, TD have lower prices cause they sell directly through their site.
Only difference is that those sites give you a little more guarantee if you could use only credit card; that is my case

@CK13 I think there are some minor changes to the V3 watch itself, better lume may be one of them. I can only speak for the lume on my V2 and say that it is not great, my deteriorated 23yo Gen Seamaster lume still holds a better charge.

@jpchub like manuelmay said there are ones on Ali for £150 and below but steer well clear of them! I had a couple of the sellers send me photos and they are very poor copies. For now I would stick with the VSF if it is within your price range. Ali seem to have restrictions for Rep items so the sellers get round this by listing the items with ambiguous titles, try searching for things like "James Bond watch" or "No Time To Die watch".

Personally if I had of known about the TD's at the time I would have purchased it through one of them, I buy things on Ali all the time and trust their purchase protection 100% but the service of QC that the TD's offer just add that extra reassurance.

Through Ali you have to contact the seller on WhatsApp to get photos with no assurance that this is what you will receive, for example I was shown photos of one with the correct V2 nato buckle and then received a V1 nato instead. Had I really wanted to kick up a fuss I think I could have either come to an agreement with the seller or received a refund through Ali, for all that hassle I can live with this minor inaccuracy for now as I am considering buying another in the future if VSF release a perfect copy.

Regarding the bezel mine is the same as PolonusTM described, it does not rattle when worn or tapped but has a bit of play when pushed from the side. I feel it is down to tolerances varying between each watch, thats why some have no issue.

Hehe thanx all. There is no way I would risk that. I will only buy through my regular TD. Was just wondering the price on Ali. I would have tried Ali if they sell VSF for like a 100 bucks. I would pay TD price on Ali. Not sure what you will receive.

That's how mine was shipped, though I purchased the V1 when they first release the statement of this watch coming to the RWW market

Probably just me but if it takes a month, I'd ask for a refund and try getting it elsewhere. Meanwhile try to keep pushing the TD at least once every 3 to 5 days just to keep reminding them.

Yes. But to take almost a month for QC pics is pretty ridiculous. I understand if it's shipping coz no doubt that would be delayed due to the pandemic, lesser manpower etc, but postal services are still active nonetheless, so delays are expected. But to say the world has shut down is an exaggeration. As for QC pics, some have waited for more than a month. They need to stop using that as an excuse. Most services within the country are active including postal and heck, in China at least, things are pretty much gradually back to normal. They aren't exactly in lockdown anymore if what I'm reading in the news is accurate.

FYI, I ordered and paid on the 8th of April, got qc pics on the 11th. Shipped out on the 13th, and got it on the 17th. I was surprised at how fast it all went.

Now its a whole another story if the factory is currently out of stock of the watch but the TD's aren't saying that. Factory being out of stock of the watch is probably understandable if QC pics takes weeks or a month or so to be received. But is it?

Think about it they had them before the lockdown - sold out during and things where not ok for 6-7 weeks of lockdown so probably not much production going on.

They are not saying that as they are hoping they get them soon and need the business.
