Yes it doesn't seem like anyone else on here has had the same problem, it came sealed in the plastic mailer which I assume is done at the factory.
Im 99% sure it is a V2 due to the case metal colour (seems like titanium to me), bezel number thinness, spacing/length of hour & second markings and the brown bezel & dial colour.

The photo below is a side by side with my Gen Quarts Seamaster that I have paired with the mesh. I think it works better with the stainless case.
I can confirm I have the correct V2 logo orientation on the mesh buckle, this would also suggest that I have received a V2, maybe I am just an anomaly.






Dam that V2 nato does look good, I'm starting to really want it now!
Maybe I'll wait to see if they come out with an accurate Ti mesh and other fixes in a later version, I can probably hold out till then.

Great review of the V2. I’m not sure if I want to hold out until some of the later updates like V5.... I believe the V3 is as close to the gen as VSF will produce, in which they make great Omegas. I have heard through some TD’s that V3 is supposed to be titanium mesh bracelet/titanium casing.

The Omega logo on your nato buckle is different from the V2s we've seen (see the pics posted by imranbecks above), your logo is not raised like the ones we got.

Looks like v3 bigger bezel numbers, but balance wheel is black. Mb its update. Trustytime and intime photos have gold balance wheel

Unfortunately I don't have a set of scales to weigh it.
I have heard that the Rep V2 in Ti feels super light on the wrist and if I'm honest this doesn't feel particularly light to me, but this might be because I sometimes wear Swatch watches and thats my reference for lightweight.
I am fairly well versed in materials though and would say that this is not stainless Steel, but I could be wrong.

Yes it does seem like I have been unlucky and ended up with one of the V1 nato straps, thankfully the watch seems to be a V2, had it of been a V1 I would have been really disappointed.

@jpchub I paid £353, prices seem to fluctuate on Ali by a few Pounds day by day, as of posting this it is currently on there from the same seller at £350.

@CK13 If you don't want to hold out I think the V3 is a good buy, it may not be perfect but if my V1/V2 hybrid is anything to go by this is a very nice piece.


One last thing I forgot to add is that I have found the lume to be rather weak, if you have a bright torch to charge it up with then it kicks in but quickly fades, this kind of defeats the point though.
Again for myself this is not an issue but I know is worth noting for some.

Bezel rattles not because of too big internal diameter, it rattles probably coz of poor workmanship or installation of the bezel. There is no bezel rattle on mine. Perfectly silent on my wrist.
