May look a bit odd though as the titanium is a darker metal than the bright stainless steel.

Does the regular Seamaster bracelet fit on this watch? Has anyone tried before?

Someone with a SMP 2254 bracelet did it for his gen....

Isn’t the case of the NTTD slightly thinner than the regular SMP? It looks like it to me, so will the SELs fit?

it is a little thinner, but the rep is using the same seamaster case I believe.

I can’t say I’m a fan of it on the nato, it feels to light. But I haven’t tried it out on my GEN Spectre nato yet, maybe a softer one and it will feel better.

Agreed. This piece definitely looks the business on the bracelet. Can anyone confirm how close the nato rep is to the gen in terms of overall look and feel?

Well i have a gen Spectre black/grey striped nato strap, in terms of feel, they're both very similar. Same smooth seatbelt like finish on it but the gen nato strap is softer whereas the rep strap is slightly stiffer. It would probably be softer after a few wears. But the rep strap is pretty good imo. In terms of colour for the NTTD one with the gen, comparing the colour with pics from the internet, looks pretty darn close to me. I guess we'll have to wait for MrBurgundy to receive his so he can compare it with his gen.

Love this model, already have spectre but like to add this to the collection when titanium bracelet gets released and sell the spectre.

Thanks for the feedback. Really good to know that the only real difference between the 2 is the slight stiffness, which isn't a problem for me. I'm just glad they got the colouring and the seatbelt material right.

Does anyone have any comparisons of the V2 and V3 Lume shots? I have seen the QC pictures from Andrew on this thread. I recently purchased the V1 not knowing that when I placed my order, the V2 was going to be released shortly after. I'm definitely interested in the updated bracelet and dial/bezel updates on the newer versions.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The one available now is the best. But the mesh is steel. Go for it if you don't mind the steel mesh. Looks fantastic and very gen like on the nato though. Wait for a month or so, maybe less and we'll probably have a titanium on titanium mesh version.

Thanks, i guess i will just stick around and see if a mesh titanium strap will come out soon, would be a killer combo for sure

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum but thought I would add my two cents to the discussion.

I ordered my watch from a dealer on AliExpress the other week and it arrived today, after placing the order I was looking online for more information about the rep and came across this forum, looking at the photos and reading the comments kept me going while I waited!
Had I of known about the TD's I would have ordered it from one of them but by then it was too late, I kept my fingers crossed and luckily I didn't get stung.

I have to say that I am extremely happy with this watch and overall, its finish is way better than I had of hoped for, I don't have a Gen to compare it to but to my eye this thing looks very brown!

There are a few minor niggles that I will elaborate on, hopefully this will be of some use to those who are on the fence.

I'll start by saying I believe I have received the V2 but for some strange reason mine came with a V1 nato, maybe there was a period when they were transitioning over and had some leftover nato stock? or even a V1.2?
I prefer a nato over the mesh so am rocking that, the mesh although no way near accurate is a decent band so it has gone on another one of my watches.

My expectations of this watch are probably different to most on here, although I want a certain level of accuracy I am not after that which requires a microscope to determine Rep from Gen.

Ideally I would have liked the nato with the correct buckle but I can live with the one I have as it is of a high quality.

Some of the alignment issues that others have pointed out such as with the bezel are present on mine under heavy magnification, but for me a few thou here and there is acceptable when you consider the level of engineering that goes into the Gen to achieve their perfection.

There is some play in my bezel and the rotation does not have the greatest feel to it, but again I wasn't expecting sub millimetre precision from this watch.
Also there is rattle from the counterweight when the watch is tapped or moved sharply on the wrist, this I would say is my biggest concern for the lifetime of the movement.

I know it may sound very negative to some but I have to say that I am blown away by the visual quality of this watch, I own a Gen 90s Seamaster which is from an era before Omega really upped their game, in many ways this Rep outclasses it, I think that is really something to be said for the manufacturing of VSF!

From what I have gathered most people on here know what they are looking for, if you are a perfectionist then hold off for that V7 but if you are looking for a taste of the Gen and a bit of fun I would say you will be more than happy with the V2/V3.

Odd. It's like the Ali Express seller got it mixed up. Can you confirm it isn't a stainless steel case? Stainless steel was V1. It could very well be the V1. But the numbers on the bezel looks thin like the V2... Hmm.

Here's the V2 nato strap buckle...

Also for the mesh bracelet, between the V1 and the V2, the logo orientation on the clasp is different as well.... Which one did you receive?

Good idea. I'm a huge bond fan but I can't stand how thick the spectre watch is or the hands. I'm very surprised to see how often they're posed here.

This one is definitely an upgrade in my opinion!

I actually like the Spectre watch so much, owned the rep for 5 years, that I bought a gen of it. Well not the same exact Spectre watch as the gen Spectre watch wasn't within my reach due to its high cost now in the preowned market, but a gen SM300MC nonetheless, all similar shape, weight and size minus the Spectre differences of the lollipop hand etc.

Yes it doesn't seem like anyone else on here has had the same problem, it came sealed in the plastic mailer which I assume is done at the factory.
Im 99% sure it is a V2 due to the case metal colour (seems like titanium to me), bezel number thinness, spacing/length of hour & second markings and the brown bezel & dial colour.

The photo below is a side by side with my Gen Quarts Seamaster that I have paired with the mesh. I think it works better with the stainless case.
I can confirm I have the correct V2 logo orientation on the mesh buckle, this would also suggest that I have received a V2, maybe I am just an anomaly.

Here's the V2 nato strap buckle...

Dam that V2 nato does look good, I'm starting to really want it now!
Maybe I'll wait to see if they come out with an accurate Ti mesh and other fixes in a later version, I can probably hold out till then.
