This ‘v3’ insert sure looks the same as the v1

Different insert. Look closely and you can see that the numbers are aligned to be more closer to the edge of the bezel on the V3, just like the gen.

is there a way to fix this?

This is my first rep and being honest I'm pretty disappointed in the VSF quality on this one. It sounds like a hamster wheel strapped to my wrist.

You’re speaking of the exterior bezel, not the interior rotor, correct?

The rotor on my VSF Spectre is super loud (miyota). Does anyone know if this can be fixed by a watchsmith?

I did not find the V3 on trusty... Hence pictures are refering to V2 ?

Seeing the many posts of those saying that the bezel is loose and one is making noise even when on the wrist.... How loose is that for it to be making noise even when on the wrist??? I count myself lucky to have received one with a perfect bezel. Neither too loose nor too tight. Turns perfectly like my gen SMP.

Hopefully this loose bezel occurrences won't be an issue with this model.

Mine v2 isn’t

That’s very strange, is it a v2? Mine arrived absolutely solid, only rattle comes from the bracelet which is barely noticeable

my NTTD however has a pretty loud mechanism but I’m guessing the titanium case exaggerates that

We are referring to the V3 as the one with updated mesh clasp. It's right now listed as V2 at Trusty and comes with the new clasp and mesh. Intime refers to it as the V3 which is what i prefer referring it to as. It's just easier to just call the one with the updated clasp w/steel mesh the V3.

I just want to add that my V2 has no noise whatsoever be it from the bezel or rotor. It's perfectly silent.

Chances are the V4 will most likely be the one with titanium mesh. Provided they get the titanium mesh to look right... Then it's perfection!

I don't have much experience with replicas, but I don't know about that: the price is going to increase with Ti Mesh. Isn't there a risk that less people will follow? The goal of these factories is to sell as much as possible.
The first mistakes they make with the V1s could be avoided by waiting a few more weeks before offering a new model, but they want to sell as soon as possible.
I am following this like a TV show. What will happen next? :nailbiting:

The price for a full on titanium case and titanium mesh bracelet will sure to be priced higher than the current price of 448. Current owners of the V1/2/3 can purchase the titanium mesh separately when it becomes available if they choose to. Not that there is anything wrong with the steel mesh, but most of us just wants accuracy. Which I intend to do for my V2 once a titanium mesh is available. Its widely known since the V1 was announced and released that there will surely be various versions of this model made, with some slight differences in some places on the different versions, most notable on the bezel and the V3 being the updated mesh/clasp as well as bezel numbers aligned differently on the insert. With the most major change being the V2 which is titanium as opposed to the steel case of the V1. So chances are the V4 would be all out titanium.... I guess we'll have to wait and see.

aside from the noise and the loose bezel, I will say it looks fantastic on this strap

I think the V3 is good enough for me. I figure V4 will have the Ti mesh. Can’t see them doing more versions. This rep looks great!

That is great news. Could the lug holes be a problem when mounting it just incase they are drilled different? What do you think

No it shouldn't be a problem. I've fitted the same mesh on my SMP and Steinhart and they both fit fine. Just as long as its the correct lug width, should be ok.

Just for fun, here's a pic of the gen Omega mesh on a SMP 2220.80!

I’ve just noticed that the crown is super shaky on mine, it feels like it will fall off when it’s pulled out. Anyone else with this issue?

The crown is really loose. I don’t want to take the back off to remove the stem and re-thread lock the crown though, but I’m a bit worried about using some needle nose pliers to do the job with to save taking the back off, knowing my luck I will snap the stem if I do it that way. I’ve got to say at this point I’m a little underwhelmed with VSF QC’ing. First a loose bezel now a loose crown, when will it end?
