This.
Think about it they had them before the lockdown - sold out during and things where not ok for 6-7 weeks of lockdown so probably not much production going on.

They are not saying that as they are hoping they get them soon and need the business.

I’m not so sure about this, maybe they’re out of stock but before the lockdown they were at V1, V2 and 2,5 seems to be produced in the last weeks.
Anyway if they’re out of stock, they must say it. It’s unfair, imho

Well Sead says he will have my qc images very soon...whatever that means. Hopefully my grey dial vsf Seamaster will finally arrive (a month after posting) tomorrow to keep me going!

A month? What country are you in?

In my experience it isn't a problem of country, is the courier slowness. I have a 007 300m that from 29 april wait for DHL. They give priority to medical supplies.
In this case i don't know why but the watch is in Riyad, but the timing looks like the same as my NTTD shipped from HK

We are a bit off from the original topic, but:

Most of the cargo companies are now shipping medical supplies from China to all around the world, and it makes them really busy. And as most of the countries are in lockdown, demand for online orders (mostly from China too) just skyrocketed. Stocks are piled up in warehouses waiting to be shipped.

I ordered a watch (ARF) on the 5th of February (probably the worst timing, but I knew that sooner or later it will be delivered, didn't care so much). Received QC's at the beginning of April, and it arrived on the 3rd of May (DHL Express) to the UAE. This is because of the current situation, you can not do anything, but to wait.

I have to say andrew and trustytime are very responsive, fair, and honest to messages and answer ed all the questions i had and since it was my first purchase , i had alot of them. ( just took the oportunity to say what i think , because he deserves it ).

Completely echo that,I pulled the trigger on the V2, got it within 10 days (in the UK) IF I had waited two more days on the order time I would have got the V3, with the S/S strap. just before the V3 changed to the holes. But that's life. Waiting for the V3/4 Ti strap which I will buy from Andrew as it was my first purchase from him and he was excellent. The only thing is the bezel, like others I do have play and the lume is not that good. I'm not confident enough to alter the spring underneath? And as for dental floss how does that work. And the NATO is excellent much better than my Spectre NATO.

I have used InTime and mostly puretime in the past but can recommend Andrew.

What is the trick with the dental floss ?

You just get a couple of inches of it and then put it between your teeth and move it forwards and backwards and it removes food and plaque from between your teeth. Works a treat and you can feel the gaps again after!

Lol couldn’t resist.

I’d be personally tempted to whip off the bezel and re bend the retaining spring to make it sit tighter. I’ve done it to fit gen bezels to a upo and a smp in the past.

It'll fit. But i feel the colour of the strap doesn't match the brown of the bezel and dial. I haven't done it on mine, but i did a mock up of it online to see how it'll look.....

I think it looks great on the leather nato though..

I like it more when it does NOT look so Brown !

Some pics make it look very brown on the numbers etc and a others just look creamy which to me is nicer.

Just like the gen, the light surrounding the watch will play a part on how it'll look. And the rep is really spot on.

Check out this latest video review of the gen.

I have no complaints with Spectre, great watch just feels very light on the wrist. Just love the vintage look of new one, just need them to fix the bracelet :)
