It could also just be brushed steel which gives it a slightly darker look.
All I know is that I want the Ti version asap, the mesh that it comes with it has come undone on me twice today and the first time it hit concrete. Not good.

Dammmm that’s not good! Mines been pretty solid so far, no bezel movement either

Really? Odd. I've been wearing mine on mesh since I've received it and it has never come undone. It stays on put and secure throughout the day of my daily activities.... I have nothing but praise for the V1 clasp. Love the secure and perfect fit it provides.

[QUOTE = AllanUSC; n8853849] Ci

Sorry about the delay in your order.

I ordered my V2 at the end of the first week of April, very soon after they announced the V2, and I just got it yesterday (I'm in the USA).

Based on Andrew's response, my guess is that they quickly sold out of the V2 and are waiting for more. I wonder, are you getting the V2 or, at this point, the V3 with the more accurate bracelet? [/ QUOTE]

If it's true that the bezel has been updated, i hope it will be V3, so it was worth waiting a little longer....

I think t could just be me not fastening/pushing the clasp down hard enough because it has been ok for the rest of the day. I like the adjustability as well you can get a perfect fit which you can’t with most other straps/bracelets.

The newer clasp will be a bit safer as the deployment will not come undone.
This style clasp on mine came undone and sent the watch towards the tiled floor
No real damage but be careful

Day two with VSF NTTD V2. Observations. This is a very subdued watch perfect for Spec 4 but not great for low light reading of the dial, I wonder if Gen is the same, I suspect so. MrBurgundy waiting for your side by side and appreciate your effort. My watch I got from Sead is -4 S/D with 287 amplitude....Really a great time keeper. I may still have the movement serviced as I have a great Professional watch Smith in Ohio that does a great job and is affordable. Its often best to do a complete service on a new chinesse clone movement as they are poorly and improperly lubricated along with generally filthy.

Omega would have been better off using this compression fitting design. I think the holes in the Mesh are stupid unless you get lucky

Or they could have done the sizing method like how Staib does it on theirs via micro adjustments on the clasp or removable pins/links. But Omega just wants to be different I guess with their version of their sizing and clasp which is very similar to how the deployant clasp works on leather straps. Before Omega's mesh, I've never seen holes like that on mesh for sizing.

Will hopefully have it soon—fingers crossed! Watch has left China now and then after a stop in HK (that's how it works from China right?) should be then onto me.

I just noticed that the V3 has a gold balance wheel. Not that it matters since its a closed caseback.... But why change it???? It was already correct with the black balance wheel on the V1 and V2

Description on Trusty and InTime says black balance wheel but the pictures don't lie.

I could absolutely care less about the appearance of the movement and would of rather had the best Clone 2824 made or for an extra $100 a new clean swiss ETA or Sellita

It also appears they have again used the infamous decorated movement cover so that if you have even to access the real regulator you'll have to spend hours disassembly that beautiful damned thing.
IMO this is really senseless and useless, especially here where we have a closed case back. Oh, why!?

... And this is it! I will not buy anymore replicas using this «decorated movement» cover, especially when you have a closed case back.
What's the use? A watchmaker will definitely see this as fake, it takes more time to let you access the real movement for maintenance, and add thickness to the watch.
I would be much happier if they just add a few markings or some perlage to the real movement even if it looks different from the original.
What's the use?!

Agree. What makes it necessary to decorate the movement if it has a sealed case back?

At the price they are selling it for, people would cry if they didn't decorate the movement and put a simple miyota there.

They should get rid of the decorated movement that no one will ever see, then they could invest in an accurate titanium bracelet the everyone will see.
