NEW NTTD No Time to Die Titanium/Titanium Seamaster 007 Edition

I have wanted this NTTD ever since I first saw it on this thread way back.
I will finally get to add an Omega to my collection as I ordered it a couple days ago.
Only now I see there is a bracelet upgrade.
From what I’ve read here the bracelet isn’t that accurate, so I’m stewing if it’s worth changing my order to the newer bracelet or save the $20 and hope they make a ti version.
someone else here mentioned putting it on a rubber tropic strap, that’s a pretty tempting option as well.

Correct. Other than the updated clasp, the mesh is still not accurate coz it's steel and different mesh pattern from the gen. Save the 20 and wait for the proper titanium mesh and hope it will have the accurate mesh pattern like the gen :thumbsup:

I wonder if they’ll be able to eventually replicate the exact pattern of the gen Milanese band given the complex nature of its manufacturing.

They did the watch and on some models they have done the movement so I can’t see why the can’t replicate a mesh bracelet.

They can and according to reports, will make Ti mesh.

The stainless mesh is clearly a prototype to establish and perfect mass production tooling and techniques.

VSF often sell off their prototypes before nailing the final version.

The thing is most rep buyers (outside the 50 people in the world on this thread), will happily buy prototypes and not care for (or be aware of) the gen vs rep differences that we discuss here.

so I can understand the factories sales logic. Let’s hope the correct bracelet is out soon.

I’m glad to hear that a Ti mesh is in the works. Now I just want my watch, it’s been stuck with the airline in HK for the past 5 days.

I’m with you now. Yes and I think a lot of customers will and potentially use an aftermarket mesh to save £1000.

Is there a NTTD owner with the ss mesh who owns also the Spectre ?

I know the NTTD lug width is slightly different from the Spectre (20 vs 21) but i would be happy to see the SS VSF MESH on the Spectre.

Mine is a similar but non-Spectre gen. There will be a visible springbar if I put the 20mm mesh on the SM300. And it'll be moving around on the springbar. I once put a 20mm strap on it and the visible springbar bothered me.
