The mesh still looks the same as what you'll be receiving. It's steel and still has the same mesh pattern as before. Only thing it has going for it is the new clasp and the tapering. Other than that the mesh pattern is the same as before and looks nothing like the gen mesh. So I wouldn't be too pissed about it.

Just wait. VSF will do one in titanium with a more accurate mesh pattern and sell that one separately which I'll gladly buy for my V2.

Yesyes , i know ... i still cant wait .... hehe... also i want to thank trustytime and andrew for its help and patience.. its my first buy and he is very good and professionel ... every question aswered , qc pics recieved in 2 days, and shipping 2 days after i GL the pics... really nice! Thank once again

I for one am fine with the current V2. Won't be bothered to get any other variants for it if they do make it. Just give me an accurate looking titanium mesh for it and it'll be perfect!

What about the durability of the aluminium bezel? All my diver watches have the ceramic bezel which I love.

I love James Bond and I would really like to buy this watch, but I am not sure about the bezel. What I also don't like about this watch is that it's not that shiny :p (yea, I know it has that vintage vibe in mat...)

I was thinking about buying the staib mesh bracelet for my Omega seamaster 300, but now I am not sure. Maybe I should just buy the 007 seamaster?

Ferax Aluminum bezel on every single diver I had so far was just fine and still is. But it can scratch, of course. It all depends on what kind of abuse you put your watch through. But I guess it won't be the only watch you'll ever wear until you die, so you should be fine.

Here's my SKX after 5 years of abuse. Not a damn thing on the bezel.

I also prefer shiny watches. This is exactly why I've sold every single Tudor I had so far, I've simply preferred the look of my shiny ceramic Rolex watches and of course my regular black SMP. This one is matt AND brown - a no no combination.

But I can see the allure of this watch. It's different and it's a Bond watch of course. It's great to have the watch a fantasy character is wearing and having that warm fuzzy feeling inside that you're a bit like him. Just like the Speedy. You feel like an astronaut the minute you put it on your wrist :D

Here's my gen SMP after 8 years of wear.... The aluminium bezel still looks great!

One odd thing about this watch: I was checking c24 to see the supposedly genuine articles and I noticed from a couple of private sellers what appeared as a BLUE toned dial and insert!
My first thought was WOW! I like that contrast combination with the 'vintage' lumed markers even better than the dark chocolate insert, only to discover it was a wrong white balance on the photos...

Therion666 imranbecks thanks, for your answers guys.
Oh, the good old SKX. I had one but modded with ceramic bezel :p
I am still not sure, but I think that at the end the 007 seamaster will be mine. I will wait for the correct titanium bracelet...
Imranbecks, feel free to share more pics of your watch! :D

Interesting fact for you; the screen worn watch isn’t likely to have the tapered mesh bracelet. According to Omega they only made the prototype titanium mesh in March 2019. (Bond was first pictured wearing the watch while filming in April 2019) and the tapered mesh wasn't achieved until July 19
, going into production in September 19 for release in Feb 2020.

They already make a titanium mesh (straight one) for one of thier other watches don’t they?

Ploprof has a titanium mesh a few years ago but they have used a totally new design for the Seamaster.

Yes, but my comment was about what DC may have been wearing pre bracelet release

Sorry I probably didn’t explain it very well. I understand that in March 19 they had a prototype of the new style Seamaster titanium mesh, but it was 20mm at both ends until the new tapered design was finalised in July. So from these dates (if correct) then I suspect DC was wearing the prototype 20/20 titanium (Seamaster design) during filming.

My understanding is that Omega purposefully gave the watch an aluminum bezel both for the vintage appeal as well as its propensity to scratch and fade over time. It's an intentional choice meant to age with the watch. To that end, it wouldn't be a watch to be babied.

Pointless quoting something that was unknown, they were (until last night) All completely valid points. No one knew anything just hopes and wishes. Still no v3 yet. let’s say v3 when it happens.

I was just having a bit of fun.

I received my NTTD, this Saturday, Andrew at TT sent it out a week ago and it went through the HK hub, I am in the UK. So wait patiently and it will be on your wrist in no time. I will post some pictures when I get around to it. It looks great, the only criticism is that the bezel seems to be a bit loose, and does not sit where you put it without the wobble back and forward. Anyone else's got this.

Its a genuine. The shape of the crown guards of the past SMP models is different with the current SMP models including the NTTD watch, that's why they appear different coz it's shaped differently.
