Mine is a similar but non-Spectre gen. There will be a visible springbar if I put the 20mm mesh on the SM300. And it'll be moving around on the springbar. I once put a 20mm strap on it and the visible springbar bothered me.

Here is the gen non Spectre with the watch...

Would you accept to test it pls ? There is « only » 1mm of difference so 0,5mm of play on each side.

i will wait for the Ti/Ti version on the NTTD but perhaps i could buy the ss mesh from an owner of the v1/v2 in ss.

I’m holding out hope they can replicate the gen. band accurately, but this article right here reinforces why I’m concerned they won’t be able to.

I posted this before. I was told over on RWG the chinese already make all sorts of mesh. Since then there’s a tapered v2 braclet in steel. Did you miss that?

A watch brand called ‘Skagen’ has tapered steel and titanium bracelets. And they most likely made in China they can do it.

I’ve been pretty on the fence about the NTTD - some days I love the design (I’m a sucker for lumed bezels), and some days it really doesn’t work for me. But this strap combo kinda tipped me over - I really like this look!

I really like the brown strap look Ebzen02. It's less dressy, makes it look more of a tool watch.

Anybody know where to get a strap like that?

I don't know if any of these straps might be a good combo:

but I can vouch for their extraordinary quality. Jean Paul Menicucci is also the maker of straps that are sold on Hodinkee under their brand. They're very pliable and the leather quality is outstanding. Watchobsession has discount codes every now and then, I bought a strap from them about 2 years ago at a 20% discount.

Another great option are Colareb straps.

This combo looks really great, but I personally feel that a leather strap has no place on a diver's watch. Plus they tend to stink as f#&k in the summer.

My copy and pasted response to a similar post next door:

'That's just Omega PR bullshit. They have to justify their ridiculous price somehow so they talk in terms of things that sound amazing to the layman; 'a spool of titanium that can be hundreds of kilometres long!' Whoopee do. That's what factories have been using since the industrial Revolution (ish). Wow, a magic machine that makes a carpet of metal - a loom? Industrial Revolution. A mystical device that can squash said carpet together! Wow, Omega have a press! Woohoo! Industrial Revolution!!!!!'

Lol.. I can't wait till VSF replicates the mesh in titanium. I'm actually very confident it can be done.

The closest we have seen to a similar mesh pattern that Omega has done is the tapered steel mesh from Staib which looks incredible imo.

Credits to Arachnoidosis for the pic of his V1 on the great looking steel mesh from Staib.

Actually JPM is also the same guy doing straps for Bark&Jack!

Hi, I got the VSF v2 titanium version. Is it normal that the bezel has a little bit of play ? The rotation is a little bit stiff...

Mesh pattern looks pretty decent too. I’m waiting for my qc pics from Sead who tells me he has the latest batch. If I GL it I’ll post some images of the bracelet.

God knows when it will arrive after that though. I understand why things are slow of course. Nevertheless my vsf v2 grey dial just isn’t moving. Posted on 16th April and appears it hasn’t even reached the HK hub yet. Patience they say, is a virtue though.
