Nice work Andrew!
Still just looks like the old mesh but at least they have some steps in the right direction re new buckle and taper..
Looking forward to Titanium release! Thanks for an E.t.a!

I'm not one to say, "I told you so".

BUT I FECKING TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

The current V2 titanium case is perfect as it is. I'll gladly pay extra to get the titanium mesh rep separately. But only if VSF can get it to look right, then it'll be perfect to compliment the current V2 case. But if it still looks the same like the current steel mesh pattern, then even if it's in titanium and with the correct clasp, it will be a pass for me.

If VSF can make the titanium mesh pattern to look like this, they can take my money....

I hear you, but have faith! VSF have been knocking it out of the park for 18+ months now, they'll come good.

I do have faith in them. That's why I bought the titanium V2 knowing that somewhere down the road, they will make the titanium mesh bracelet available to buy separately. So far so good though as they're on the right track with the deployant clasp. Only thing they need to do now is to make the mesh pattern accurate.

Hi there
Do you have a rough price for the strap alone?

Probably just me but I don't think the steel mesh with the new clasp is worth the upgrade to get it on its own. If you already have the current steel mesh it came with like I have, I'd say stick with it till they come up with a better looking, accurate looking titanium mesh with the clasp. Coz that one still looks the same as the mesh we have, only difference is the clasp and the tapering. Still nowhere as close to how the gen mesh looks.

"Let’s stop saying v3 with mesh, no one knows if that’s happening."

"VSF usually don’t put out more than 1-2 versions."

"No. There is a likely chance they will not do a V3. It's just a wish list thing people here have; not something guaranteed nor with historical precedent that VSF will do a V3."

This.

I’m reassured for now however that having placed my order yesterday Sead assures me he has the latest batch to choose from. Tbf I’ll be wearing mine on a gen Bond nato or dark brown novonappa.

No mention of a V3. Go to Trusty website and you'll see that they're referring to the latest steel mesh with the deployant clasp as the V2 mesh. The titanium case is still the same V2 case from before. So overall its still the V2. I reckon when they do release the titanium mesh, it'll be referred to as the V3 mesh, but still on the same V2 case since no changes were made to the existing titanium case. Make sense of that if you will.

Of course it would probably be called the V3 if VSF decided to make some changes to the current titanium case which at this point is doubtful since I see nothing wrong with the V2. To my eyes the V2 case is perfect. VSF seems to be focused on making the mesh bracelet properly right now.

I'm not that married to the argument, I was just poking a bit of fun. But it would still stand to reason, we all seem to agree that the mesh is integral to the character of the watch, and thus VSF's continued efforts to improve it and make it better and more accurate is a component of a third version.

At any rate it's semantics. Will be interesting to see if they make any adjustments to the watch itself as well.

Latest release from VSF

New stainless steel mesh bracelet for the Omega 007 No Time To Die.

Stocks will be updated with the new bracelet, with some slight price adjustments, due to higher cost for the bracelet.

Thanks

**Watch on the bottom is the VSF one. Top one is a cheap rep. :)

For the titanium bracelet version, factory said that maybe June or July. No exact timeline and further information given though.

I hope vsf would use too the Spectre clone Movement with the great PR.

Well these sucks... 2 days after my watch is sent , new more good looking bracelet comes .... now i need to wait to buy it separat.... but will wait (if ever made) titanium 1:1 acurate..

The mesh still looks the same as what you'll be receiving. It's steel and still has the same mesh pattern as before. Only thing it has going for it is the new clasp and the tapering. Other than that the mesh pattern is the same as before and looks nothing like the gen mesh. So I wouldn't be too pissed about it.

Just wait. VSF will do one in titanium with a more accurate mesh pattern and sell that one separately which I'll gladly buy for my V2.

Pointless quoting something that was unknown, they were (until last night) All completely valid points. No one knew anything just hopes and wishes. Still no v3 yet. let’s say v3 when it happens.
