I think you're convincing yourself of a flaw that doesn't exist. I'm looking at the NATO strap they sent me along with multiple photos of the genuine and I can't see a difference. Stuff looks different in different lights. NBD.

Awesome! Please post pictures when it arrives. Did you do nato or mesh?
Look at the stitching on the gen and then on the rep, on the gen it goes over the edge, on the rep it doesn’t even reach the edge. It amazes me how they can rep a watch and then miss a couple of stitches off the strap.

The Ti colour of the v2 case looks great! Still bothered by the bezel and face markings though—looks too beige and not lightish brown; too bright. It might just be the lighting in Trusty's photos but the bezel markings also look to be a slightly different shade to the hour markers, which shouldn't be the case.

Same here. I'm in the bloody same boat as you. Haha.. I love the look on the nato, but the mesh is what Bond wears in the movie. I've emailed Andrew requesting for better, detailed pics of the mesh, hope he replies.
I literally just ordered the Nato version and the Spectre V2 (was my birthday in lockdown last week)
It's never going to a 100% carbon copy so just go with your gut! I'm sure because of the demand the Mesh strap will be available on its own later

Oh I didn't even notice that! I thought the factories might have originally ordered the nato with SS hardware in bulk, so even if they updated the case to Ti, we'd be stuck with the SS on the nato until they used up their old stock.
Overall, and mesh strap aside, the v2 isn't too bad. Just a few more colour changes and it'll be perfect.
If you're okay with the mesh on a different watch I'm happy to take a bunch of photos of it for you on the wrist - just don't want to swap it onto the NTTD as it was kind of a pain in the ass to get it in place.

Yeah that's fine. It'd be good to share here. Just need to know how the clasp on the mesh works and how secure it is. Coz honestly I can't figure it out by the pics of the rep mesh that I've seen so far. Appreciate it.
