Yeah I’m going to give it a while to see if I can get used to it. I’d actually really like a titanium mesh to go with this watch cos the mesh makes it look smaller somehow. But the weight of this is more than the watch so it’s off balance too.

Which is why I've been wearing mine on the nato strap. I started out wearing it on the steel mesh for the first two weeks. Looks great and all but I just didn't like how the steel mesh was weighing down on the titanium case. Made the watch feel heavy and i would forget it was titanium. Switched to the nato and boom, the weight difference is amazing and i can feel the lightness of the titanium case with the nato. So it'll be on the nato till the titanium mesh comes around.

I'm good with the rep. The gen is just too overpriced for what it is. I'd rather get a Submariner at that price.

ETA June or July. Wait would be my advice. Movie won't be out till November anyway, still plenty of time to wait for an all out titanium case and mesh. But if you prefer it on the nato, then go for the V3.

I'm counting on it. Omega would want as much exposure as they want on the watch on screen. Surely there's gonna be some sort of gadget on it. I'm guessing it's something to do with the helium escape valve and a rotating bezel...LOL

Here's to hoping no more delays and the movie will be out in November.

Definitely growing on me. The colours are amazing and the v2 mesh is getting more comfortable. Titanium of this will be icing on the cake. The steel doesn’t stand out too much though and it’s very passable.

It's been a while since the last gadget watch, i don't think that Q is anymore into that stuff. I think that will be showed in a couple of frame like all other items (smartphones, clothing, etc)

Remember these guys wear those white gloves to do all the qc stuff so there is always lint in the outside of the glass. The images aren’t a high res so it’s hard to tell but they will confirm for you it’s in the outside and td’s can be taken at their word. Other than that it looks great. You know what sometimes you shake a watch and a spec appears on the dial but they are an easy fix. Definite v3 and very nice looking piece.

So my plan for the bracelet is to get a thicker 18mm spring bar in here. It should stop the strap moving around as much and perhaps reduce the exposed overlap issue. I expect it’s a 1.5 so I’ve ordered a 1.8 and a 2mm to see which I can squeeze into that sleeve on the end of the mesh.

Mine is going to have to go back. Case back won’t stay closed. Very disappointed. Now got to incur more cost shipping it back. You would have thought they checked the case back before sending in the qc checks.
