The gen hour markers don't have a border? Looks like the rep has a border and makes it look smaller

The gen markers do have a border but for some reason it is coming out similar tone to the lume in this shot.

Similar problems the gen owners have with the clasp over at Omega forums. Bulky due to the overlapping mesh plus the deployant clasp adds to the thickness beneath the wrist. So it's not a rep issue but also an issue for the gen. It would probably take a while to get used to it.

This is where the V1/V2 mesh gets the advantage. The clasp is sleeker and not as thick with the excess mesh.

Yeah I’m going to give it a while to see if I can get used to it. I’d actually really like a titanium mesh to go with this watch cos the mesh makes it look smaller somehow. But the weight of this is more than the watch so it’s off balance too.

matt2302 if you wouldn’t be interested in getting rid of the SS mesh I would be willing to take it off your hands. I purchased a V1 right before they released the V2 and now V3s. I wish I had known VSF was going this route with this rep. But I’m also wanting to hold out for a V4 over the summer.

Thanks for the offer but I think I’m going to hold on for a bit longer. It actually looks the part. I am thinking of getting another oem nato just for this watch too, so if I do and decide to flip this mesh I’ll give you a shout, but the titanium version will probably be here soon, then I’ll struggle to give the ss mesh away!!

Thanks for spotting the V2 vs V3, now def dealing with v3 but since you seem to be experienced, can you possibly comment whether you would RL if the white dot by the 10 marker is on the inside of the crystal? https://imgur.com/a/0krXj3V see third pic down.. it is def on the crystal but don't know if in or out. have asked TD to check.. passes QC with flying colours otherwise.. but don't really want to look at a piece of dandruff in the case forever if it's on the underside of the crystal. Any thoughts? TIA

Remember these guys wear those white gloves to do all the qc stuff so there is always lint in the outside of the glass. The images aren’t a high res so it’s hard to tell but they will confirm for you it’s in the outside and td’s can be taken at their word. Other than that it looks great. You know what sometimes you shake a watch and a spec appears on the dial but they are an easy fix. Definite v3 and very nice looking piece.
