After a few days of wearing my LMPO, here's some quick photos and impressions.

Good:
+Wonderful crystal with superb AR
+Nice, well finished hands
+Accurate movement (not measured, but not many secs off per day)
+Good crown movement
+Sweet, glossy dial and bezel
+Nice fit and finish
+Decent lume

Bad:
-Bracelet is incredibly hard to resize, broke two bracelet tools and destroyed three links in the process. Be careful when using a jewellers hammer when putting back pins, links break easily :(
-Applied markers and logo a little crooked, but not noticeable when on arm
-A little back play on the bezel, but not too bad
-Caseback not looking too good
-Tiny end link gaps

All in all, a really, really nice watch!

Almost identical to my feedback a few months back. At least I know I am not crzy! Thanks for sharing.

Things that have caught my eye:

1. Possible lume spill on the 3?
2. Markings on the outer ring from the crown to the "20"
3. Can't see the triangle where the pearl lies clearly due to shadowing, but assume it is the same color as the rest.
4. Is the crown protruding more than normal, or is that just me?

I don't know much about alignments, backing or the bracelet but they all look good to me.

edit: After looking at the alignment of a few gen LMPO's it seems the 12, omega symbol and wording are all right shifted ever so slightly.

What do you guys think?

The "1" in the 12 looks like its on a bit of an angle, pearl looks a bit off centre, markers looo pretty good though centred wise but yes lume looks a bit spilt on a few. Seems to be the same issues with all of these, not a bad piece though, I'm sure you won't notice it on the wrist.

Thanks for the objective assessment. I've sent an email to my TD and will see if these are due to the photographing or actual flaws. Hopefully I will be able to offer some wrist shots within the coming weeks!

Also, I heard this was a new batch. Not sure if this would be batch number 3, but would not be surprised. If anyone is on the fence, maybe now is a good time to dip your toes in?

Should receive mine in a few days so fingers crossed it was as good as the QC pics, had to go through a few different watches to find a nice one from the TD. One was horrendous, nearly all the markers were crooked, logo crooked, lume spilt, all the same sort of issues we have all come across. But the one I chose in the end looked pretty decent on the QC pictures, lume wasn't perfect but much better than the prior ones I was shown, markers were all nice and even and straight. But just bear in mind that under macro shots you will see all the flaws, but I doubt you will see them on your wrist.

I am yet to see a "perfect" LMPO rep, but it's a rep in the end and all reps have their flaws.

I wonder if td's also have to offer the less perfect reps first round and hope some people don't notice or mind in order to maximise successful sales from a batch? By no means would I be criticising the method if it were done, because its basic economics. The thought of td's going to factories and picking out watches individually for each client seems somewhat inefficient in my opinion, and that's why I come to this conclusion. Odds are I'm completely wrong though and some thread probably outlines clearly how td's operate :)

Anyone know if the (superior) bracelet from the 42 CrPO fits the Noob LMPO ?

I was asking my TD about the bracelet, and he said that quality is quite good and I'm not sure if this is due to a change in batch?

Received mine today, I can see why everyone has been complaining about the bracelet, was a right pain to re-size even with the correct pin pushers and jewelers hammer, but got there in the end.

I don't want to sound like a broken record but just wanted to reiterate what "machineboy" posted earlier. It really is a beautiful watch and just looks gorgeous sitting next to my v5 PO, looks much more modern and dressy. The V5 PO is a great watch but definitely looks dated next to the LMPO.

Don't be put off by the macro shots showing flaws such as crooked markers and spilt lume, on the wrist you can't even notice it. I think I got a pretty good example but still has small flaws but you can only see so much in a QC picture, it is a rep after all so I didn't expect perfection. I am very impressed with this LMPO and with my watch winder box now overfilled I may need to start thinning out the herd...

Also just a note, the V5 PO bracelet (which is nicer quality) fits on the LMPO but there is a small gap where the bracelet joins the watch, maybe with some griding of the bracelet this could be made to fit? But the stock bracelet is fairly well made...just a pain to re-size!

That's great to hear Rudney, wear it in good health.

I've just approved mine as well, can't wait for it to arrive. There was no lume spill, just angle of the shot. Should be great.

I tried my crpo bracelet on my lmpo, and the thicker end links were not a great match. Pity, the crpo bracelet is awesome, but once the lmpo bracelet was sized to fit I can't really fault it. Broke my only half link though, pity you can't micro adjust it.

A couple of questions before i pull the trigger...

Been itching to get this watch, have just trawled through this thread in its entirety, great resource! Sounds like(as always) its about checking the QC Pictures for any of the flaws mentioned in the last 50 pages!

Some i could cope with, minor text flaws on the caseback, poor quality bracelet..

But the face and dial need to be spot on, as its what you look at every day.

my one remaining question is regarding thickness. on some main dealers sites they claim 14.5mm, some 16mm.

I have an old PO42mm rep as a daily, this is 14.5mm, which is about right for me as it sits nicely on the wrist, and just fits under a shirt cuff

Can anyone measure the actual thickness of theirs and report please? And also, anyone know the thickness of the Gen LMPO?

I agree about the face. If my $30 silix special PO can get the markers straight, there shouldn't be an excuse that this watch which costs 10x more can't.

Some more pictures of my newest arrival. Also, on the asian eta clone 2824-2, do they still stamp it as 2824-2 and the ETA symbol? I have attached a picture of the movement with the stamping on mine.
