Hello Everyone
I have to say that am fully impressed with all the info and knowledgeable people here (and few trolls of course :) , i have to be honest i own few rep watches but never thought there is such community all those years am in the hobby. I was always buying from a local TD who traveled to china 2-3 per year to hunt for watches, but my guy now retired, so here i am to do the hunting alone

Thanks for sharing these comprehensive "must reads". I have also already purchased Reps in the past from untrustworthy sources, that in the end even considering there relatively low price, were definitely worth buying and had nothing to do with crafting replicas. I feel like the knowledge that is provided here has already helped me to get a better overview in general and especially what sorts of qualities are available in the market.

All the best - Drivespace

New signup, checking out the place. Great welcome info and clearly a solid community. I'm not a newcomer to community forums and I look forward to contributing to this one. I do not own a rep yet but after seeing so many sites out there and finding out about this place after a visit to /reptime, I realized a lot more homework and understanding was needed. Seems I've found it here. Cheers.

Hello everyone! I've been following the forum for a while now and joined last week. In these first few days, besides seeing beautiful watches, I am trying to learn the rules of the forum as soon as possible, so that I can also buy some beautiful watches. Greetings to all

Hello from Singapore!

Have always wanted to look for a forum where stuff about rep watches can be discussed and after lurking around for the past 2 weeks, I certainly hope this is the place to be.

I was a PAM fan (I'm a sucker for lume) and owned a couple of GEN pieces prior but sold them because while its the watch I like, it wasn't a watch I deserved. Settled for a rep PAM127 from some unknown factory which I eventually gave away cos the REG TM marking on the CP is really bad.

A friend passed me a 15500ST from APSF to try on as he refused to let go of his YM42 from Clean. For some weird reason, I am beginning to like it more and more.

So my sights are on AP now. However the idea of wearing a 50-60k sgd watch daily doesn't seem like a wise idea. So..... i'll just stick to the rep for now.
Hello, I am from Singapore too and a newbie to this forum. Have recently been sucked into the rep world and considering my first purchase. Any advice on which TDs have worked best for Singapore? Like you, I am a sucker for Panerai’s.

Search if you are looking for something specific before you add a new topic. That keeps the forum relevant. The forum isn't a helpdesk! A lot members spend much time here at RWI and if they have to dig through all the ‘what is the best’ and ‘where can I find’ posts all the time, it makes their time on the forum less pleasant. Other, more experienced members are willing to help and answer your questions but most questions are already asked before, so read/search first. In the beginning, it’s overwhelming because there are a lot threads, but if you read and search in the right forums and sub-forums, almost everything can be found.

Use the search function in the right upper corner, you can search in titles and/or posts only also with advanced search. Sometimes searching with Google works also well, just add RWI to your search query. If you can’t find what you are looking for after reading, and you still have a question, put your question in the right sub-forum.

:welcome:

I am still reading through the plethora of information here. Great site, especially for folks who happen upon people on FB marketplace selling "reps", were smart enough not to scammed, but now is really interested in the replica market for watches.

Glad I came across this forum. I’m in the UK and have always loved watches. I finally bought my first gen (Hublot) about 2 months ago and have been considering reps for a while. Glad I found this forum. I think I’m about to make my first rep purchase.

I’ve been reading through stuff and I just wanna say thanks to all everyone that has put the time and effort into the posts as they’ve helped me a lot!
