    Forum Terms & Abbreviations

So you’re new here. You wander around the forum and you see things like IMO that SOSF has me RMFAOL and you wonder what the hell are these guys talking about? Well here is a list of those terms to help you out. I’m sure I’ve missed a few but this will be a work in progress.

Not even the counterpart for the reps they own. They are usually anal, very opinionated as to what is right and wrong and aren't afraid to share it. Rexpert: A person whose knowledge on the accuracy of replicas is based on actual experience rather than hearsay. They regularly visit ADs and have handled most gens. They have seen the gen counterparts for the reps they own and will not buy one before they have. As a result they are usually more knowledgeable about models in general. Smole: A spammer who operates covertly. Usually located in China and claim to want to learn about reps. Their posts are innocuous at first. Then slowly they drop references to the 'amazing deals they found in their travels to China'. It builds over time finally resulting in a full blown Spam attack on the forum or by PM.

SMP: Short for Omega Seamaster Professional.

SoCal: Short for Southern California. The collectors who live there consider themselves to be in a separate class from the ones in CALI or anywhere else. (See CALI).

Holy crap. All kidding aside, this is a tremendous work, Fakey. Atlhough I would add in a couple of terms:

Jandrew - term used to describe Josh and Andrew, whose business practices make them virtually the same person; also referred to as "The Twins."

LoS - short for Legend of Speed, Chief Admin of RWI; Primarily known for being an evil despot; will soon be overthrown by seanf in a bloodless coup

Plushophilia - an unnatural sexual attraction to stuffed animals; see AHW676

AHW676 - allegedly a female member; secretly seanf in disguise; will not send you any nekkid pictures, so stop bloody asking
Any advice for those just starting to get into replica collecting?
Yes. Stay away. Stay very far way. Use your money on something more productive and less addictive like, say, blow, midgets and hookers.

Seanf: "To whomever keeps putting homoerotic subtextual images on my James Bond avatars, fair warning. I will hunt you down and straight up murder you."

Fakey, as someone who has been guessing on some of these abbreviations for a while, I'm very thankful for all of the work you put into this. I've been looking for something like this since I started looking at this forum.

And you also forgot one other term:

Bite me - term meaning "bite me"
