Rep world is now evolving years within months, there are already mega frankens in the gen market as gen watches. There are at least, minimum over 1500 units of 5711 that are cnc’d cases with Calatrava movements and some gen dial some “custom” dials, and I say this because of the guy who was arrested for doing this. Millions sold in watches that had genuine movements but were not genuine 5711s. Problem with the human nature is the greed, did he had to make a “gen” Tiffany Patek and try to sell it for u$1.5mil ? Definitely not, but greed is greed and thankfully he got caught for it.
Now we have free sprung 1:1 clones. I mean, at least 50% of the grey mkt dealers and wannabe dealers won’t freaking know the difference now.

Rep watch world will become the diamond world, problem is in the watch world people will actually loose “gen money” over frankens that are not worth that.

To define it in one word to a gen watch collector
“Scary”

I have personally seen a few in used gen watch shop. And i noticed whenever a hot rep franken comes out, those used watch shop will have alot of those same model stocks.

Anyway, I can not assure this variation doesn't exist in different 5712 dials, is like the 6 marker, there are some 5712 that have a longer one like SW and others that are more square and short.

I think we sometimes nitpick too much.

I do not believe the guy who film this video were purposely hiding the numbers . difference between gen and sw are not just only the date number if you really need to pick them out.

the most noticeable thing is the 6 o'clock marker (and the other markers too, for me the white gold plated PPF markers are better than the SW ones) but it takes clear photos to see it
