Pinion mod looks great, however gens without the larger pips at 25/35 don't have a pinion on the center stack, it's just brass deep below.

U mean the date hands and second hands? If so , the date hands have pinon on gen as know. Second hand it doesnt .
Hi Ac, I joined here because I've been on the lookout for a good 5712 replica and a bunch of people told me I should start looking through the various vendors here. I'm curious if you think that the AC5712 watch compares well to the $3288 one I saw on chazingtime. Most people here seem to suggest that one is overpriced.
Ultra is great version. but this price without any gen part is also expensive
And why not accepting that proceeding to the mod you end up with something better than gen ...
To me a watch finished with brass in theater of the hand at 40k it is a shame ... but each his preference...
As long as you are not passionate about the caliber or the brand itself, FOR ME , there is no need to spend the extra money for a gen 5712 (except of course the investment)....For those who are wondering how it compare to gen.

The sw are not bad, but too rounded, the ppt are not bad but too squared.... the truth should be in-between....
Light makes it look much more different, I have an SW V2 on my wrist and not that different to gen tbhIs this an obvious mistake or am I missing something here?
Amazing Mod job! One question - what are your thoughts on the SW v3 dial released this year? It seems to be an improvement over v1 and v2 per the reviews I have read.
Ther is no v3 . i guess what u guys are talking about is the different match of v1. Sw v1 hand purple and gray hub. V2 is the latest one which have correct color. They never released a v3
New 5712 cnc case is released!
This is GEN construction 1:1 cnc.
Main difference other then thickness is that gen case back is not screw on from the bottom of the case. It is tighten with screws from the top of the case under the bezel. But ppf is a whole turn in case back.

Not sure if i got you 100%, but if this case is exactly the same construction as gen you cannot use a ppf movement :-(New 5712 cnc case is released!

Yes you are right. This will only be use with the ultra movement

Would be interested to have a focus on the mid case bevel ...it seems that you got them right....
So far what i saw from the various modders, bevels are too exaggerated, and no patek have such large and fat cuts...
