Gen 5712 case back is secured by screws , which needs to remove the movement before you can open the case back. For ppf, the case back is not the same, its just turn onto the case from the back

New 5712 cnc case is released!
This is GEN construction 1:1 cnc.
Main difference other then thickness is that gen case back is not screw on from the bottom of the case. It is tighten with screws from the top of the case under the bezel. But ppf is a whole turn in case back.
These are the first set of samples which engraving is not done yet.

Hi mate! I saw some pics and a short video of the supposed new blue Buff 5712 dial. Do you know something about its existence and quality? One of our TDs claimed the latest SW is still better.

I dont like it personally. The color is too dark and kinda purple . And dial marker is bad

I know this isn't a recent post, but what a shot! Looks so good, I'm tempted to buy one right now. At least in photos it looks as close to the real deal as is possible without franking the piece and driving up the cost substantially. The colour seems pretty good and the tells (like the date printing and the marker at 6) are all minor enough to the point where it might even fool me at a distance - and I have owned the gen.

You would not notice those fault in real life even when you are wearing it. its so small . And the marker is shiny.

@Paul Newman Is this a PPF base? Or the CNC case from AC? Love the deep blue colour in this photo, my old gen looked like this in certain light conditions.

This is my favorite custom PPF 5712 Original watch get it from a watchmaker and it has been my daily wear watch for 14 months with no issues.
