I want options, and the information to make an informed decision. How's the AR look, fittment, edge finish, and personally, I'm curious how well they would perform under pressure testing to enable waterproofing, but I know I'm an outlier on that one.

Wow you are all piss and vinegar today aren’t you? I think what jack is trying to say is that he believes in the quality as he is one of the few people who has had both crystals currently available (prof and cc) in hand and on his watches. I am also one of the lucky ones to have been able to get my hands on a xtal for the ap diver as well as the cyclops and IMO it’s amazing. See the daily AP thread. I personally own xtals from guru, prof and cc and yes each of them has their own qualities and characteristics and for my diver the cc looks amazing.
I think without having one in your hands you can’t really say good or bad or voice your opinion as strongly as you have done here.
Given your experience in the field you should know that xtals with AR, without AR, or any of them will show some reflective properties and it all depends on angle, lighting and photographic skills when represented in a photo.
I for one am excited to see more choices in this arena and looking forward to getting my next cc xtal! What would you suggest? AP? NSD? Or maybe a Tudor? Those look pretty decent in blue right?

Agreed. I love the crystal cleAR's I've purchased but I've always loved Profs. I've purchased dozens over the year. He was the pioneer and he's great to work with and has a killer AR
Here’s another pic of the CC black hole. I think it’s a great alternative. Especially for the price point. It may be a little hard to get the full effect because of my mother of pearl dial. Thank @Spinman

Based on the pictures I've seen so far I think the CC looks good without a cyclops, but the CC with cyclops looks poor. The blackhole effect looks poor and the date magnification looks too weak.
I think the prof blackhole looks far superior to the CC, and much closer to the rolex crystal.
I think the blackhole crystal that occb2 reviewed was also syperior to the CC crystal and similar to the prof and genuine.
I look forward to seeing a review of all four together.

In all honesty, this thread has turned into one guy whos tryimg to make the perfect rep sub c xtal, and is adamantly saying everyome elses is crap, while this other company isnt even on the boards or in the rep game. They aren't trying to make the perfect 295c-c12 xtal, they are just making affordable aftermarket xtals with AR.
Nope you are wrong, I never said everyone else is crap. Actually I said exaclty the opposite, prof AR is great, however not the proper one for watch applications as he sacrifices durability for clarity.

I've had both and honestly, there is no difference. The cyclops has a green hue one one and blue on the other. And the double ar xtals are both very clear.
I got an email saying the blue hue cyclops are finishing up this week so ill do a review on another batch of flat and cyclops xtals, prof vs CC. If you can get yours done and to me, ill throw it into the mix and some gen rolex xtals as well.
Full reviews and comparisons, once and for all. Let the people decide based on pics, not bs. All this bs from the Asmo xtal, the CC and the Prof doesnt help anyone.
And let's be honest here, there is no secret AR formula. There is no secret AR lab. They all use the same shit. I've been chasing this rabbit for awhile now, mainly because i like to diy and i dont like to pay others to do work, and i can tell you now that there are plenty of labs here in Colorado that do AR for watches.
