Obviously, have you ever bothered manufacturing them?Very weird. Never seen or heard or a bad sapphire crystal
No I have notObviously, have you ever bothered manufacturing them?
This is what I mean that you're coming across as just super biased and how thou dost protest too muchConsidering CC currently uses Zeiss and Hoya for the green hue, I'm trying not to be mean here. You're saying the companies that spend tens of millions in R&D just to make the best AR in the world are wrong. But you figured it out?
Synthetic sapphire crystal is like a diamond. The pressure and hardness don't leave a lot of room for bubbles
I believe you. Just weird is all. I'm not a geologistwell ive got one , im no scientist so i cant explain it , but it exists
Could you please enlighten me and tell me what product line of Zeiss has a green residual colour?Considering CC currently uses Zeiss and Hoya for the green hue, I'm trying not to be mean here. All of them. They stopped commercially making blue years ago. The whole ar industry did. Only older accounts that do watches only get it and it's an older formula. I thought you were an expert in the field?Could you please enlighten me and tell me what product line of Zeiss has a green residual colour?
So I'll try to make it as simple as possible, AR solutions are made from various materials and grades. The colour reflections you see on a crystals/lenses is called "residual colour".
no company wants a residual colour on their applications however sometimes it's innevitable, for example with Anti-UV, oleophobic and hardening layers.
The most common AR coating using by the chinese prescription lens manufacturers is the same as the one used in CC. The one with the green tint. It's not because of any of the above extra layers, it's about the quality. The anti-reflection mark is lower than the average low-tier branded one. You can check one of the latest v6s sales using CC crystal, you can see a lot of reflections even at perfect angle where a weak black hole effect appears.
You don't have to inspect in person something that already looks to bad on pictures, I'd have to inspect in person if something looked very good instead.
I hear you brother, I don't have to apologise to you whatsoever for not sending you the crystal. I told you that I totally forgot about it since when I asked rob it was already too late and I went to bed. I am a busy man and can't remember anything, you never got back to me to remind me either.
However here is the proof that I never "backed out"
9 AM here, 2 AM in New York. Next days passed and you never asked if I sent it out or whatever.
Ok, but have you seen his double ar on a crystal yet?!! The ones dave and I posted are just his black hole xtals. Ar just on the window. It seems Your judging all of this based on your biased opinion. If you would have held one In your hand I could understand a little more. But you haven’t? You also haven’t seen the new 2x AR also? You judging a company you haven’t seen their product. That what is conning off wrong to all of us.
