BP loves releasing half-assed models and that is why they are quick to release. I doubt they have a genuine sample to replicate for most times - like the new 126600 sea dweller disaster or the Datejust 41 mess

BP DJ is a king before ARF. BP price always cheap below $300. If ARF release DJ full 904L steel as price as their Daytona, do you think it will sell well ? as we know if DJ to expensive like DJ41 Noob wrapped it will hard to sell.
There is a market gap for 36mm datejust. BP and LF used to be the monopoly for the mid-level Datejust 36mm rep, but both factory models are flawed because they don't have the correct lug shape or the correct overall dimension... but people didn't have a choice because they were the monopoly and other factories haven't stepped in to compete.
Now ARF turns up with a $60 more expensive Datejust (the old BP 1162xx with SA3135 cost $308 I think) with the added advantages of 904l steel, probably better case dimensions and lugs (needs to be confirmed with a review), and a SH 3135 movement that is compatible with gen 3135 parts... so IMO the $60 incremental price jump is justifiable and the BP / LF Datejust is going to be dead
The datejust 41 from noob with wrapped gold is hard to sell probably because not many people like Datejust these days... and certainly not smaller models like 36mm. This is why other factories like Noob haven't stepped into the 36mm Datejust competition when watches like Sub and GMT Master are so popular

I a little confused now about what is actually 904L steel with the 6 digit datejust by ARF.. on one sight it claims the case is 904 but the bracelet is not, on another its vice versa!
It be nice to know the whole thing is 904 because I'm about to make this purchase in blue dial version oyster bracelet model

The last thing to rely on are the descriptions on TD websites. You need to find info elswhere. Here for instance. Once you KNOW that, life is much much easier.
