New AP 26240 with 4401 Super Clone movement is coming

I’m no expert and I’m very new to all of this. But…these look very similar to me. Am I wrong? Don’t rio me…I don’t know what to look for.

I feel like even most gen owners wouldn’t see the differences. I think rep owners are more knowledgeable because they’re looking at every little detail to see how accurate a copy is.

Do you think the average gen owner knows as much about all of the details?

We just analyzing DP dial to see if it's worth 320 dollars. People pointing out APS flaws so we can evakuate DP

I'm curious how many of you actually test your watches for water resistance? Unfortunately, I sold my testing device because my wife wasn’t thrilled about the space it took up. So now I’m left with the good old trial-and-error method… not exactly ideal.

I’ve never had issues with Rolex reps in the past, but this particular chronograph makes me a bit nervous due to its construction. Has anyone here tested the water resistance on this rep? I know each piece can vary, and there's no guarantee, but maybe there’s a general trend or common experience worth sharing?

Finally got a few minutes to test mine to 3 ATM. It passed without issue, although like all chronographs, it wouldn't be my first choice to intentionally take swimming. Here's a gif of the rest.

I think we have spoken at length regarding the dial. But anyone have any opinion on the crystal? I feel the Ao crystal is indeed next level and I am not sure how good teh rep one is? Though I have heard from a couple of modders that it's very good. Anything else out there which is a must to swap out?

Could be heat and shock dislodged it. Hope bro used a good reliable dealer to accept return and not peeled stickers yet. Nothing else to do.

It would be interesting to hear @legend's view on the two dials (I suspect both are distinguishable from gen, so pick what you like best, but would like to hear his view).
