anyone leave the chrono running during full use of the watch? i kept the chrono running for two days and the large chrono hand and seconds hand aren't synchronized. good power reserve on this movement for sure though.

Bro I can definitely see you like to live dangerously.

I’ve left mine running for about 3/4 hours max so far I believe… I’ve used the chrono ALOT though. It’s still working great so far. But it’s only been like 4 days. So, we’ll months of use!
BUT, If it’s truly a vertical clutch, then there shouldn’t be any wear/tear to the movement. But please don’t take my word for it. I don’t know how similar this is to the gen movement.
I know my Sugess top chronometer has the 4130 movement and there’s no issue with leaving the chrono running and it’s a Chinese movement with vertical clutch/column wheel

yea, after the first day it still looks to be syncd, the second day is when i noticed they weren't running at the same rate....i keep it running like a running seconds hand the entire time it is wound.

Just spitballing here, but I wonder if there is some slippage in the vertical clutch assembly.

Maybe one day I will have enough balls to try and service mine. The mechanical inner workings truly fascinate me.

Thanks for being a guinea pig for us and testing chrono durability.

Agreed with this. I encourage @mgberns to stress test the shit out of it and keep us updated, and I thank him for his service.🫡

I wonder if it’d be worth putting a 2x AR crystal on these. The tapisserie is so gorgeous, I don’t want it to be hidden by glare haha

I thought he was talking about his gen daytona, not reps.

Well, I'll share some stories I heard from people I know who has done the same, the gen obviously is much better but they had to service their watches a lot sooner than the recommended 10 years.
At worst some damages and worn out parts had to be replaced.

Again, this is on a gen daytona. On an RO itd be worse.

On a rep.....
