I can’t wait till the Chinese holiday finishes and then another month for shipping.There was a steel blue dial there earlier for 4500 euro. It had some obvious scratches and marks. Someone must've really wanted one. Demand is up as expected.
I have a black dial apsf. Since I noticed the ring around the subdials are so thin I can't bond with it. It's sitting in a drawer until I find a gen black dial. Sad but true.

It really is superb — the first blue dial that I am aware of that’s so well executed and close to gen. Even more impressive that is a v1 too.Finally here! Amazing quality, slightly larger than i expected, but i am already in love with this little bastard…..now i need a Ceramic one!
It’s true, when this release came out I saw many gen pieces flood the market all of a sudden on dealer group chats etc
It started as soon as the rumors started circulating of the clone movement. Hopefully as others have said there's a dial improving service or improved dial from a buff or SW soon. For me it's just the subdial rings. On my black steel it's almost non existent.

I hear what you're saying. But some of us franken for 1% better. Ignorance would be bliss for my wallet. But I think the more you're into horology the more you reach for perfection on your reps. Often it's a path to get the gen if it tickles the orifice. But yeah ideally you save the 5k to go towards the gen.
I wouldn’t say thin chrono rings are unheard of in AP world. Why the obsession? Just enjoy your pieces that are at 2% of retail value and probably only 2% of you would notice if it were not for the micro shots (no offence intended, just stating the facts - unless of course you are direct descendants of eagles and condors)
Mind you assuming your pic is a rep. Those rings look good. My black steel is bad. You can hardly see them. I guess I got a bad one. I ordered early before this was a commonly known issue. I've also noticed the green dials are better in that regard.
