….let me try this again, hopefully my simple question won’t get virtually ignored this time!

I have a question that may show my ignorance about AP movements:

*** Is you guys manual wind mechanism like completely silent and almost resistance free?***
(You know basically EVERY watch you wind makes SOME noise and has SOME resistance.)
This AP 26240 rep with clone 4401 movement has a completely silent and basically nonresistant when twisting the crown.

When I turn the CASEBACK over and watch the movement while winding I can only see one wheel hidden way underneath moving when twisitng crown.

Answers are much appreciated!

Thanks!

This has been answered multiple times now. The 4401 and the 4302 clone movements are both silent and nonresistant when winding.

If you are unsure whether the winding mechanism of your watch is working, just let it run down and then try to wind it - simple as that

Is your concern that you can’t manually wind the movement via the crown?

If so, let the watch “die.” Then see if it starts up by winding it.

Otherwise, not sure why you’re so concerned? My Omega reps are just as you describe. The crown winds without noise/friction but everything works as it should.

I’m so excited for my rose gold blue dial. Should arrive this week, hopefully
I got a bunch of cool watches on Friday but the AP has had most of the wrist time

Love the white Arabic dial Daytona — have the same one — a small tweak on a classic but in a nice way
