you are not wrong to say that . However I believe that its still a great rep for the price. Kaput or not. Willing to take the risk
Some things in life are worth a bit of risk my friend. šŸ˜

Im not normally one to get multiple versions of the same watch, Daytonas aside. I may pick up a green one after CNY.
Yep y'all already convinced me, I'm gonna give it a week or two after CNY and pop an order for a blue dial. And then ceramic if it ever gets fixed. Might as well pick up a green to finish it out. Maybe a spare purple dial as well, just in case.

Going to have to liquidate a few Daytonas though.

Finally, someone intelligent enough.

For the record, this is why I don't post much any moreā€”too much negativity and stupidity. Those are not screw marks; those are sticker markers caused by the depression of my wrist against the sticker that caused some parts of the sticker to adhere to the screws, which are at a level lower than the case back.
Settle down. Perhaps the peeps here don't understand why you would put protective stickers on an $800 rep and make it look like that. We're only responsing to your pictures. You tell me if this doesn't look like an over zealous noob with a screw driver slipped from the screw and scratched the case...

Exactly my thinking.
The prevailing opinion here in regard to broken movements is to just throw the watch in the bin and buy a new one.
But this only perpetuates the underlying problem.
Especially in case of a newly designed complicated movement just like this one, chances are that it might go south an no replacement for a reasonable price will be offered and in addition to that somebody has to replace it in person which cost a sustainable amount.
A watchsmith should be able to repair it, of course depending on the specific issue.

Yes it does. But donā€™t get me wrong , I think we should be focusing on the watch rather than scratched screws or whatever

Why a loss? Are we able to get it serviced and repaired since it's a clone?
Noone has done a full breakdown of this movement so we don't actually know if it's a "true clone" per 4130 (replaceable with gen parts) or a "clone" which is similarly built but not compatible with gen parts, similar to A330 movement. Additionally, these flyback chrono movement parts are not easily found. Or at least I haven't seen any. So if a niche part breaks you're shit out of luck. I could be wrong or corrected.

Just arrived yesterday, itā€™s the most impressive rep iā€™ve owned over the past 13 years of collecting. Sizing it sure was a stressful endeavour. But letā€™s see if it holds up, Iā€™m nervous just wearing it! šŸ¤£
